I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and have a mixed opinion about this hotel.
PROS:
• Good location! It’s a 10-minute walk to town, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, since I didn’t want to rent a car or depend on buses.
• Excellent breakfast included.
• Free shuttle service from the ferry port or airport (and back). This is very convenient, considering the standard taxi rate in Mykonos is €40.
• Due to a ferry strike, we had to change our stay, and Chrysa kindly rebooked our dates at no extra charge and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Mayra at reception was very nice as well with great recommendations!
• Nice sea views (especially from the restaurant and lobby).
CONS:
• The shuttle driver seemed upset and even came across as rude when picking us up, which gave a poor first impression.
• Our room smelled like sewage when we arrived.
• Some furniture feels old and worn. Even the wallpaper behind the bed was poorly applied, making the room look outdated.
• The staff, in general, was not as warm and friendly as in other parts of Greece I’ve visited.
• Rooms are not soundproof- you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and the restaurant.
Overall: I guess the price was ok for what I got but I would definitely look for a different option if I return to Mykonos.
