This was our first visit to Grand Haven and we couldn't recommend Harbor House Inn enough. The staff was lovely, property super quiet, very clean, very safe. The room was perfectly cozy.
Noisy later in the evening with music blaring. May have come from another room. Continental breakfast was not on par with cost of accommodations.

Liked the location to the boardwalk, downtown, and many restaurants. Rooms are small but adequate. Would be really nice to have a mini-fridge in the rooms. No elevator.
The staff was very friendly. There were complimentary fresh baked cookies upon arriving. And, there was 24 hour access to snacks, water, and other goodies. Also, there was a fridge and microwave for guest use. The screened in porch that went around the inn was very comfortable with tabes, games, puzzles. It overlooked the water. And, the inn was located within walking distance to restaurants, shops, state park beach.
