Murphy Motel

"Very clean. They got 100% on Sanitation Certification. The mattress had a bed bug protective encasement. I checked anyway. No bugs anywhere inside or out. They have a coffee maker w/supplies to make two cups of coffee. There was a microwave and refrigerator in our room. The bed was very comfortable. Not too firm but not too soft. Very pleasant owners. Easy to check in and easy to check out. It is on Scenic Hwy 64 and we went during high season so motorcycles some trucks but after 11 pm it was country quiet. Close to convenience stores and several restaurants w/o having to go into Murphy. About 11 min drive to Murphy NC which has shops, bars some with live music, restaurants. It was a good stay for me and my husband. The price per night is very reasonable. Felt safe and even got to talk to our “neighbors” all were super nice."
