We stayed here because lufthansa flight was canceled so they booked us room here. Firstly they gave us a lower ground floor room, then in the morning they missed our wake up call and to top it all up the girls at reception were very unpleasant. We do understand that they had a lot of guests at a time but a smile would do magic instead they were rolling their eyes to every question we asked.
Looks ok on pictures - and that's where it stops. Rooms are small, old and worn down. Situated in what seem to be a dodgy side if town. Overall this hotell is in acute need of refurbishment. There are plenty of other hotells ner the airport- choose ome of those!
A very good location with best infrastructural connections. Quite disappointing the current status/condition of the hotel. Noisy during the night, bad smelling in the morning by opening the window, furniture in the room quite used and visible amateur repair work. 3 mornings the 100% identical breakfast content. Reception watching TV instead of taking care of guests that are waitning at the desk. ...
Hotel was fine, breakfast is good, but there are a few rooms too small and poor to rent out.. We got one of those, it was claustrofobic
The hotel is in a good location, a 7 minute walk from the central station. The area was busy, but felt safe. The hotel was modern. So the nuts and bolts Check in was efficient and friendly. Emails sent to the hotel were answered promptly and in a helpful, friendly manner. I paid for an upgraded room and it was compact but well designed and modern. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows. There was a small fridge, which was really handy.. The room had a large flat tv and a small but modern bathroom, with a powerful shower. I had two days at The Tryp Munich and the weather was very hot - thankfully I had air conditioning in my up graded room and that worked well. The basic rooms do not have air conditioning. However there were some disappointments..... The room was advertised with a coffee machine, instead there was a kettle and some tea and coffee sachets, which were not refilled on my second day. The hotel also advertised its Italian restaurant (still shown in the description) this was not open during my stay. Given that I was given 10 euros per day to spend at the hotels bar or restaurant, that seemed pretty misleading. I would stay again, providing the room rate was competitive - but the hotel should be more transparent with its promises.
As someone said in the tips "Don't stay here." Sadly, we had little choice in choosing his hotel. What we can do is vociferously tell our tour company never to stay here again In no particular order: Shower did not drain well and fear of overflow it eventually drained but was obviously not maintained. Toilet. Shoved in a corner and you could not sit on it straight. Also, if you are tall it would be a horrific experience. Luckily, I am short so it was bad only Wifi yes, you have it, but barely. Your connection for a Wyndham hotel is embarrassing Low ceilings in room and with3 beds you cannot move around. Going to the bathroom at night is a cautious experience. We booked hotel rooms, not a camp experience. Heat. While I read on your site that your had some rooms with AC, the ones without have only a small window and no screen for the bugs. We also requested a fan after we checked in and realized how hot it was and you had no fans. What in the world? Apparently, comfort is not what you care about at this hotel. If you don't have anyway to cool the rooms, then at least have enough fans so you have one per room. They should also be in the room as an amenity. How you can remain a part of a Wyndham chain is puzzling to me Breakfast room. This has no cooling whatsoever either and the only cool air is in the buffet. The garden room with the door open was the only nice part. When food ran out, it was not replaced. Service in general, while cordial was not a great experience. While they did not have concern for our comfort, when we did not have a maid sign (did not want them in the room as it is too tiny for service) they were concerned. Darkness of rooms. It was a cave in the room. No additional pillows so it took time to deal with the one squishy one Not close to the train and will have to take a bus or walk 20+ minutes from the train Ok, that is enough comments for one review. Just be warned
I choose this hotel for being located next to the airport. Unfortunately, the pictures they show on their webside don't tell the truth. My room was tiny, loud... and suitable only for dwarfs due to the low ceiling. A real fraud for the price!!!!
Good location. room rate on the high side & not all room equip with air conditioning. summer need to pay a bit more to get room with aircon. breakfast very limited selection, very simple. see pics. bathroom come with free toiletries.
Due to a missed connection, the airline sent me to this hotel. Definitely a (very) poor experience. I did not feel welcome at all, being first told that there was no room for me and that the airline did not even contact them and that the hotel could do nothing to help. This at 10:30PM (where should I go next?!). Then the front desk called the airline and told me that there were rooms blocked by the airlines for such circumstances. But what rooms (mine was room 40)!!!!! In the basement, this looked like a prison cell, old fashioned, not well maintained, so small, with a TV but no remote command, uncomfortable & noisy bed. The bathroom itself was so small that I needed to dress up in the room! At breakfast time (6AM), no orange juice available from the machine, no coffee (nicht fertig & it was still 'nicht fertig' at 6:15AM). Choice of food was ok, but nothing to help recovering from the (very) poor overnight experience. I was just so happy to leave and would not consider returning at all. And another fellow passenger met in the taxi shared the same views. PS. I am curious if the hotel's feedback will say something like "we are sorry...." just giving the impression that they do not actually care.
The hotel is nice enough, but the internet connection is second tier when it works. The rooms are small and the showers smaller. The size of a very small coat closet. Nothing like the shower curtain sticking to you while you try to get clean. The shower is small enough you have almost no option because you can barely turn around in it. We also caught a fair amount of noise from the front parking lot between midnite and one am. Overall, Not nearly as enjoyable as the night before at our hotel in Nuremberg.
