Dormy Inn, is only 160m from Himeji railway station, it is central to sights, shopping and food needs. It is mid range in standards, but really does cover all of ones needs, the bath house on the top floor is great. My room was small but served all ones needs. There are washing machines and dryers also available on the top floor. You are only approx 15 minute walk to Himeji Castle. It was at a great price and happy to stay here again. The reception staff were great and I arrived at 12 and they were able to let me into my room straight away.

The hotel has a great location that it’s across the street from the Himeji train station. It’s easily accessible by travelling JR train and Shinkansen. We were a little surprised when the front desk staff gave us keys for two rooms. We made a booking for 3 persons. We thought it would be a room with 3 beds. Surprisingly, it was a connecting-rooms (2 + 1) that we could enjoy having 2 toilets and more space. We were fascinated by the arrangement. Highly recommended for group travelling in 3. Typically Dormy style, clean, tidy and with all basic amenities. Enjoyed the hot spring at the rooftop but no chance for the free ramen. Very value for money.

This hotel is high on convenience, as it's across the street from the main train station in Himeji. It would only be more convenient if you didn't need to exit the station to cross the street - that's how close it is. The rooms are small, but that is the Dormy style. Double beds consume most of the space in the room, and there's no way to look out the window without climbing over the bed to get there. The rest of the room is just big enough for one person, and there's not much room to open your suitcase unless you place it on the bed. There is a good strong WiFi everywhere, and free coffee/tea in the lobby. The cafe serves a decent breakfast, and serves free noodles late at night. If space is not important, this is a good choice.

The hotel was quite new, so there were no problems with the room or anything else. Room itself wasn't too big, but it was nice and clean and enough for my one night stay. Onsen in the hotel was also great and it was really peaceful because I was the only one there when I went. There are also nice izakayas and other restaurants near the hotel, so you don't have to go too far if you're hungry.

Rooms are bigger than expected. I like the design of this hotel chain. They provide sento big public bath tub at the roof. Many Japanese people like to take bath at public bath. Very comfortable. High cost performance .

Great onsen atmosphere on the 12th floor. The small inside and outside onsens were nice especially the outside one on a cold night. The room was not as small as the one in Ofuna but it was still a double bed close to the window and again only one bedside table which annoys me a little, but space is a premium. Convenient enough but on the other side of the railway station to Himeji castle. Would stay here again

We're huge fans of Dormy Inns. You get great value for your money. Very professional, friendly staff. Love the onsen (hot baths) and free evening ramen. This location is less than 5 minutes behind train station. About 30 minute walk or quick 10 minute bus ride to castle.

The staff were very professional and extremely helpful during our 9 night stay. Excellent location very close to Himeji Shinkansen Station, shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to Himeji Castle. Excellent wifi connection. Free noodle supper for hotel guests in evening. My wife loved the Pola toiletries. Japanese and Western buffet breakfast superb! The room was very small but the Japanese average, every space maximised. Only one tiny pillow for each person which resulted in discomfort at times and one towel rail for two towels. The laundry was inside the hot springs bath house so very inconvenient to use.

Stayed for one night, comfortable room, all amenities, onsen is very good, clean and well cared for. Only quibble was the internet was very poor and kept dropping out. Otherwise happy to recommend this hotel.

Very good location, 5 minutes to Himeji train station. Fantastic onsen, complimentary noodle soup in the evening and coffe to go in the reception. Room was small but elegant. Breakfasts are delicious!
