Does anyone even work here?

So I arrived at the Ramada late that evening and could not find anyone working the front desk for almost an hour. I walked all through the hotel and called the phone number on the desk for assistance after hours but no one ever answered. I finally, after almost an hour, called a manager's phone number that was also on this sign and he finally came down to check us in.

I liked the property and everything else but the heating sucks there's a hole under the furnace and cold air is coming in from outside I have the hair dryer in front of the unit to help keep my room warm I have pictures of it

The property was quit so we were able to get a good nights rest both nights we were there. The room was neat and comfortable but not updated recently The breakfast on Saturday was lacking at best Eggs were never brought to the dining area so our breakfast was a couple pieces of sausage since we are on a carb free diet. Sunday we checked out and ate elsewhere in town as we continued our journey

The fridge didn't work properly and had roaches on it. The ceiling was falling apart literally on to the bed. Dingy old l Floors bugs in the tub. The sink didnt drain well. The keycards did not work well. Had to slam the door to shut it without is swinging open. The indoor pool is not in a heated area and water was less than pleasant temp. The auto locking exterior doors did not lock. All in all better than staying in a tent in the winter but thats it

You get what you pay for

I booked this hotel for the inexpesnive price and the indoor pool. Both of those aspects of the stay were very good. Otherwise, this hotel is not impressive. I think it was probably awesome 40 years ago. However, my toilet kept clogging every single time we tried to flush it. We plunged it each time, but it clogged the very next time we used it...every time. There were also stained ceiling tiles in the bathroom that looked as if they might fall in on us at any point. The staff was friendly and I do appreciate the efforts that they have made to update the rooms. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

Property is on the older side but its clean. The rooms have nice newer flooring and the beds are comfortable. Heating and air work perfectly. The bathroom has a heated exhaust fan so that was really nice.
