What a delight when we opened the door to our room. Spacious, extremely clean and nicely appointed. This was hotel #13 or 14 on a very long road trip (so far approx. 4,300 miles) and some of the rooms were half the size! The bed was super comfortable, the linens nice and soft with plenty of fluffy pillows. The bathroom was shiny clean along with soft, bright white towels. The Keurig coffeemaker, somewhat nicer disposable coffee cups, a mini fridge with freezer and breakfast with many cold and hot choices - what else could a traveler want? Oh, yes, very friendly and professional staff, especially Duane who greeted us when we arrived. Also, pleased to find extremely clean public areas. The stay was so nice we almost doubled back from the Berryville area but needed to head on towards Little Rock. Maybe next trip.
After staying here several times, I can definitely say that this is a great place to be. Daniel is an excellent person, and Duane also gave us great customer service! Breakfast is good, and the business center is also very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel, as you won’t find better people to stay with in Mountain Home. This hotel is also pet friendly, and we really appreciated being able to bring our furry family members with us. :)
We arrived, exhausted from a very long day of driving thru the Ozarks. When we arrived front desk asked what bed configuration would best meet our needs and we confirmed our ADA accessible room reservation. When we got to the room it was set for hearing impaired guests, not mobility impaired. The front desk IMMEDIATELY corrected the concerns, even showing my husband various options and contacting other guests who had not yet arrived to make certain what their needs were so we could all be happy! We were also given excellent recommendations for dinner (Coltons Steakhouse is great) and even though we have stayed in at least 8 HIE's over this past month of travels, this gentleman was THE FIRST to make sure we had our membership number for WIFI access! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The hotel is standard HIE, but I would definitely recommend the property!
We stayed here for 2 nights. The price was rough considering the accommodations. This is a hotel in a very small town and not much to do. How they are overcharging so much was shocking. The air conditioner was super loud. The shower was interesting. The room was average at best. The breakfast was ok, your usual toast, cereal, biscuits and gravy. Duane was very nice who worked the night front desk. Had this room been 100$ a night it would had been acceptable. But 300$ for a thur/ Friday night at the end of September was crazy.
The room smelled clean and refreshing. King bed was comfortable and room was roomy with a chair, foot stool and desk and chair. Also included was a small refrigerator and microwave The shower is roomy and the towels big and soft. The breakfast is hot and many options to choose from.
Clean room, comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was fantastic. Great hot food and a pancake maker ! Breakfast room is wonderful . Enough room for everybody. Outdoor pool was clean and warm. If you want indoor pool you walk across the parking lot to the Hampton Inn. The same company owns both hotels. The Hampton Inn has a pool and hot tub indoors. It was very clean . We will stay there again when we return to the area.
Needs some updating. The pool area especially. The rooms were kind of run down as well. It was a quick couple day stay for our family so it was fine. Others may be turned off more than we were. The breakfast was good. The staff was excellent and extremely friendly!
My family and I were extremely disappointed with our recent experience at this hotel. We recently stayed at this hotel as a part of a wedding block for my sister's wedding over memorial day weekend. The breakfast offering was poorly staffed and therefore we had a significant wait for most items including coffee which was almost never ready. The pool was freshly filled by a garden hose shortly after we arrived and had a temperature of a bone chilling 60 degrees at its warmest. Upon checkout, we found we had been overcharged by $40 and had to spend several minutes fixing that issue at the front desk. To the credit of the staff, the two individuals at the front desk were courteous the whole time. The most concerning and pressing issue was that during the first full day there, one of the hotel staff stole a highly controlled substance from our toiletry bag. The substance is a prescription drug that our oldest daughter depends on to be able to function daily. We are certain that it was someone on the staff as we did not allow anyone in our room that day and we were not present during the cleaning. Upon discovering this, we asked the front desk to speak to a manager. We were able to connect via a phone call. The manager said that she spoke with the cleaning crew and none of them knew anything of the sort happening. She said there was nothing more that she could or would do. Because of the severity of the issue, we called the local police department as this is considered a felony. The police said that they would look into it but that since the manager already alerted the staff that it was unlikely they would find anything. We typically lock valuables like these medications in the hotel safe but those are not an option at this hotel, perhaps intentionally? Our family battled through the next several days with many issues including my daughter pushing her way through the remaining school year without the aid of her much needed medication given the restrictions on frequency of refills. We are terribly frustrated that we became victims of the happenings at this hotel. We urge an extreme high level of caution should you be forced to stay here as your valuables are not safe. Our complaint notices sent to corporate have been ignored or blown off. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, book anywhere else!!!!
Had a great experience here. Front desk was friendly. Our room and bathroom were clean. The room was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a decent variety of foods available, eggs, cereal, pancakes, etc. I would stay here again.
My husband and I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express Hotels and have always been pleased until this one. While the bed/pillows were very comfortable, the carpet was absolutely filthy with stains and some black "substance" on it. The window had standing water in it. Also, some other guests were given the same room key that we had been given and walked in on us!!!
