The room was small but nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and they have nice touches like giving you cookies when you check in. My only complaints were that the room smelled REALLY strongly of perfumed laundry detergent--like overwhelmingly so-- and we had to air it out with the room door open and the AC on for hours. Even then, we left smelling like someone else's laundry. This is such an easy fix-- use unscented detergent in the laundry! Also, they need to fix the curtain/AC problem. If you are using the AC, then you have to have the curtain open, which let in a lot of parking lot light all night. It made it very hard to sleep--either we were hot or we were in a half-lit room. A simple fix would be to get a spring curtain rod and a piece of blackout fabric cut to the size of the window, that doesn't hang down past the AC unit. Surely I'm not the only person who's been annoyed at this.
Very nice looking and friendly staff. It was very homey. Breakfast was good.
Loved this place. The town is superb place to walk and enjoy the views.
Everything is excellent service staff accommodation Would recommend it to all our family an friends
Loved the experience. Lots of shops and excellent food. Right next to COA, the best Mexican food in the NW
Lydia was so helpful to us when checking in! The chocolate chip cookies were amazing! The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable and the location within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. A great little hotel!
Booked on the basis of reviews and was not disappointed. Excellent in all respects.
We have stayed here a few times now and couldn't love it more. The rooms are nice and comfortable and clean. You can watch movies, play games, or sit by the fireplace downstairs. It's cozy and cute and the staff is always very kind and accommodating. I've never stayed at another bed and breakfast so I don't have anything to compare it to but the breakfasts are outstanding home cooked meals. They also give you their signature cookie upon arrival, and it's delicious. La Conner is a sweet little town and skagit valley is beautiful.

Thank you Anonymous for taking the time to leave us a review. We will address the issue of the strong odor you smelled. Our cleaning products are mild scented and our laundry soap is unscented. Thank you for bringing to our attention the issue with the curtains and AC unit. We do have a variety of room sizes here at our inn, many of our rooms are very large including inside Jacuzzi tubs. We apologize for any inconveniences you had while you stayed here.
