Quaint little place, quiet , friendly people and nice town to stay in. Very relaxing stay!

Not as nice as Motel 6 at twice the price. Grounds need upkeep. So called 'resort fee' but definitely not a resort, and was told at check in that the fee was for third party booking, but orbitz denies that they collected any fee.

We had to re-route our drive due to wild fires and booked this motel from the road. We were delighted by the incredibly thoughtful and pleasant staff who planned for our late arrival. The motel has a sweet, simple charm in a good location in our new favourite small town of Dunsmuir where we also enjoyed fine food and beautiful scenery.

1st room was NOT what we had booked, mattress pad was stained, hairs on sheets. We were moved to a room with king size bed.It to had black hairs on sheets, floor was dirty as in needing to be swept.Dust was on all surfaces.Pete went back into the office and told the manager about the sheets etc and he just said he had no idea why there would be hairs on the clean sheets.Bed was hard and didn't fit the bed frame and squeak every time you moved.Bathroom screen was not attached so you could not leave the window open and there was NO working smoke detector in either of the 2 rooms...bad smells and people smoking right outside their rooms.Curtain in bathroom was falling down and very dirty also. There was a dust ruffle on the bed tucked inside the frame and when we pulled it out to look at it it too was covered with dirt, hairs and little black balls....I hope like heck they were not bed bugs.We did try to find another motel but the nearest one was over an hr away

Hi, I'm sorry you weren't happy with groundskeeping. Unfortunately, online travel agencies do charge fees for their services. We are a small property and must pass this cost on to the guest for booking with companies other than us directly. We are proud to serve guests and will continue to offer the most comfortable room possible for your night's stay.
