"We enjoyed the pools and the access to the beach. We ate breakfast on-site at Foodcraft. The food was fine, but nothing I feel the need to return to in the future given the better options at a comparable price nearby. The AC stopped functioning in our room prior to bedtime, so we returned to a warm and humid room. It took three calls to guest services to get an answer and the response was both unhelpful and inaccurate. Three more calls went unanswered so I walked to the front desk to get help. It was determined that my options were to have repair people come to the room and potentially relocate us if they were unable to resolve the issue, or tough it out. Given that we were only staying one night and it was already late and we were exhausted, we opted to tough it out in the hopes it would cool enough to sleep. It didn't. Miserable night in a hotel with staff ill-equipped to deal with the situation dampened what was otherwise a great beachside stay."
