Wonderful place. Very clean and excellent location

Near restaurant very convenient the staff were very friendly and helpful

Nice spacious room with great facilities - a washer/dryer, 2 TVs, etc. But, in 2017, wifi is a utility not a luxury. It's time to build the cost into the room, and not charge extra. If you DO charge separately for wifi ($15/day!), it darn well better be fast and stable, which the Mantra's is not.

The hotel is very nice with beautiful grounds and views of the ocean...my two complaints are after not getting much sleep the day before from traveling, we woke up to a loud drilling sound and banging at 7am on both mornings we were there. There was no warning or mention that this might occur and perhaps put us in a room away from the construction. It was so loud it sounded as if they were doing work in our room. after calling and complaining that it woke us the solution was to pack up all of our stuff and move to a higher floor. If you knew about the loud construction why not put us on a higher floor to begin with? We were only staying two nights I did not want to pack all of my stuff and cram into an elevator (which everytime walked into it I thought it was going to get stuck) and bring all my stuff just to leave the next morning. They said there was nothing they could do about it and they had the construction stop working at 8:30am for their conferences to begin. So your conferences are important but your guests don't matter? The other issue I had was wifi. I don't mind paying for wifi even though it's 2016 and ridiculous that they charge. They charge ridiculous amounts!!! $15 for 2 hours or $25 per day? That's insane! We just went to a coffee shop a 2 min walk away. By the way the beach and multiple areas of Mooloolaba offer free wifi which is great. It's a beautiful area and the beaches are awesome with soft sand and big waves, great for surfing or just for a swim

THEY HAVE NO RESTAURANT ON LOCATION, THEY HAVE A NO CANCELLATION POLICY...WE MADE A MISTAKE BOOKING AND WE CALLED AND [...]ONE NITE THE SECOND ROOM WHICH WE COULD NOT CANCEL AND HAD TO PAY FOR, WAS NOT CLEAN WHEN WE GOT THERE...THEY WERE NOT AS PLEASANT AS SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES...WOULD NEVER STAY AT A MANTRA AGAIN.
