Mantra French Quarter Noosa4.0 out of 5.0

Overall, quite good all round albeit noisy during the day. Close to amenities and beach. Staff helpful at check in and always. Some room items need renewal or repair as mentioned earlier. Cheeky bush turkey in residence ready to take advantage of any situation. Overall, a pleasant stay, quiet at night and although not beachside (obviously) it is well located.
We've stayed at the FQ 4 times since 2010. We always go back there because it is just so hard to beat. LOCATION is perfect. Right on Hastings St but the layout ensures you still feel nestled away and it's nice and quiet. ROOMS are beautifully finished. Most have undergone recent refurbishment and offer modern decor, good use of space and all the mod-cons you need with a family/children. LANDSCAPING/REOSRT LAYOUT is on point. They redesigned the pool area about 12months ago and it's so well done. Nice mix of deck chairs with tables/chairs, shady spots, kids splash pool, 2 x spas, lots of greenery. It's impossible not to feel relaxed and indulged when you spend time there. MANTRA FRENCH QUARTER is such a great spot. You will not be disappointed.
Mantra was awesome. Self Cater apartments so your kids can eat messy and easy without costing a fortune and annoying others. Really close to literally everything Noosa has to offer. You even get a parking spot. Massimo's across the road when you need to bribe the tribe. Best pool in Noosa by far. Beach is a 1 minute stroll - our 18 month old walked it every day about 5 times, so it's close. Apartment was perfect, clean, well appointed. Hired a real cot - awesome. 5yo stayed underwater for hours then slept like a champion. I surfed Tea Tree at 415am every morning. The whole thing rocked, and French Quarter made it sooo easy.
The best pool & gardens in Noosa! Close to restaurants, shops and the beach ! Balcony facing pool was fantastic! Secure parking, nice staff ! Great value for money will definitely be a returning customer 😄
Great location, perfect position and the facilities were fabulous, very family friendly. Pool maintenance was great, service was disappointing. Minimal room cleans and not flexible with times, minimal supplies and had to get your own downstairs, staff saying they couldn’t bring anything up to the room (I needed washing powder was alone with young kids).
Didn’t start well, top floor room as advised in email, not available due to “reshuffle”. Staff however responsive and friendly. A couple of maintenance issues, noisy fridge quickly replaced, broken drier took a couple of days to replace in wet weather a bit if a challenge. We were in the south tower a bit noisy early with truck emptying bins daily 6 to 630 ( who’s the customer here, tell them to come later) otherwise, brilliant location, 2 mins to beach and restaurants, and the resort had a friendly safe vibe about it. Thought the pricing was about right for this type of resort. Will stay again, but chose a room in another area( hopefully not reshuffled)
Great venue close to the beach and main street where all the restaurants and cafes are. Rooms are clean and comfortable, I had a view of the pool area which was great. Would be happy to stay there again, handy to have washing facilities in the rooms.
Stayed in the Deluxe Room overlooking pool and it was gorgeous. Artwork in room was even impressive. Room sizes were fine with TV in bedroom & another TV in living area. Cannot complain except to say the morning light was bright ! Location is great as its a 5 minute walk to beach and also 5 minutes to an amazing array of restaurants with a broad range of food options available and beautiful fashion boutiques.
Just a terrific location for everything but our 1 bed apartment was really quite ordinary and ridiculously small. Nowhere whatsoever to put your suitcases (had to stumble over them in the useless and unrequired hallway).... no TV in the bedroom only relatively small one in the kitchen/living area and despite the bed being comfy the loungesuite was a very cheap and nasty foam number......no table to eat at except the one on the porch so if weather slightly inclement you'd have to make do with small glass top coffee table. Clothes dryer had broken door and couldn't be used...... and large spa in bathroom very high to step into if you are a short person. We stayed for 7 nights and could access fresh towels but there is no cleaning whatsoever until you leave...or changing of bedding.... if you are there for a couple of weeks it would be extremely grotty indeed. The only bbq's on the property were tucked away in a very ugly and inhospitable area which is also a shame. Overall..... ordinary and somewhat tired apartment (pool area lovely) which of course helps sell it in photos etc., Have stayed in many places there over the past 40 years and if given another opportunity would probably give the Mantra a miss just due to room size...... fairly average service...and really I would say the location only is what sells it.
Our room was mosquito ridden and had squashed ones decorating the walls of previous tenants. The WiFI does not work so dont think you can check in on your work whilst lazing by the pool. The main benefits are the location and the pool is great for kids. I would look for somewhere else for the price you pay and the room you get. You will be disappointed.
