We liked the restaurant and the lobby. There was a lot of parking available.
THERE WAS ICING PROBLEMS. ENTIRE PROPERTY WAS COVERED WITH 2 INCHES OF ICE AND NO SALT, SAND OR CHEMICALS TO CORRECT IT. ESPECIALLY AT THE HANDICAPPED PARKING AREAS. I NEED TO USE A MOBILITY DEVICE WITH RAMP ACCESS FROM MY CAR. I HAD TO GET SALT MYSELF TO MAKE SURE I WAS SAFE.
The hotel staff was friendly enough. While a little over priced, the food in the lobby restaurant was decent. The rooms are severely outdated. The only area upgraded since the 90s are the bathrooms, lobby, and pool. The location is inconvenient to downtown, and traffic noise from the highway is audible at all times.
Bar and restaurant was closed by 8pm. Not good. Room cleam is a minimum if u advertise on the outside od the hotel that the restaurant and bar inside then it should be open.
dirty carpet, looks like entire room needed upgrade.
The room was nice, although a little cramped for three adults, and the space allowed for only one chair. The granite vanity surface in the bathroom was sizable enough to accommodate all of our necessities, unlike the tiny areas in so many hotels. We paid an upcharge for free buffet breakfast. It was worth it and saved us money. The scrambled eggs were not the powdery type found on many buffets, and the omelet station was a plus. Good fruit selection too. One criticism: the toilet tank took forever to fill between flushes.
Everey thing was ok exept distance to montral downtown.
good experience, would love to visit again, good for the value and price
The hotel is very nice and the staff was very helpful. We did not eat there so I can't comment on the restaurant. However, the hotel is not where it is shown on the map. They show it a block from the Metro. In fact, it is ~5 km away. Easy enough to drive to the Metro, but figure in the $8.25/day it will cost you to park there. Type the hotel address into Google maps to get the real location.

Thank you for your comments, your opinion is important to us. The Montreal area has received a warning of freezing rain for this weekend you stayed at the hotel. Our team did their best to secure the parking lot, even with the difficult conditions. Hope to welcome you another time, when the weather will be more lenient.

Dear Guest, The renovations have taken slightly longer than anticipated, and we hope to have the dining room fully operational by the end of August. The bar will soon follow. We are sorry if these services weren't fully available to you during your stay. Hopefully, you can one day return to see the completed work. Regards, Antonio D'Alesio GM - Holiday Inn Longueuil

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write and post a review. We really appreciate getting your point of view on our property and services. Our rooms are quite spacious, but I too wish there was more room for an extra easy-chair or sofa. I also think that our buffet breakfast is a good value and appreciate the kind words, which I will share with our kitchen brigade! Thank you for staying with us, and hope to see you again soon. Warm regards, Antonio D'Alesio General Manager Holiday Inn Longueuil
