This hotel is one of the best Accor hotels we stayed in, located a short 10 minutes walk for the centre it offers great rooms with incredibly comfortable beds and excellent Wifi connections and great showers. The parking is just underneath and Gallery Lafayette in the same Polygone, great! What also makes this hotel is the incredibly friendly staff at reception, one of the best welcome we ever had in the Accor chain and the rooftop bar afford great views of the city and a very tasty Bandol rosé wine! The Pullman is a great choice and Montpelier a fantastic city, easygoing and very friendly
This was recommended by colleagues working at the Montpellier office. It's definitely not the cheapest option around but you really get what you pay for. The rooms are great, spacious and clean. I do like the sliding door/wall separation for the bathroom. I still dislike the open shower style, but it seems like all modern hotels are adopting it now so I just learn to leave with it. Having experienced various levels of service in several establishments in several parts of France I was delighted by the courtesy and professionalism of the Pullman staff; that alone would make me come back in a heartbeat. The rooftop swimming pool and dining/breakfast area is fantastic; early breakfast with the sunrise is just the perfect start for the day. The breakfast buffet option were great as well. Finally, conveniently located at a barely 10 min. walk to the heart of Montpellier. All in all, if that is within your budget, I would highly recommend it!
Everything about this hotel was summed up by the amazing customer service from some of the most helpful and polite staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting whilst travelling. The hotel entrance is bright and welcoming. Your car is parked for you and luggage collected if you wish. Rooms are modern and bright with everything you could need. Spectacularly clean! The pool area is a lovely treat for a city centre hotel and staff are equally as attentive offering drinks etc. We ordered room service as I had been unwell, this arrived within 15 minutes and the food was excellent. The menu was wide ranging and only a slight increase to have it in your room. Breakfast was fantastic- there was incredible choice! Staff are knowledgeable about the area and give you guidance of where to go. It's a short walk to bars and restaurants. Our only regret is that it was a flying visit as we were only passing through. If you're going to Montpellier stay here!
As part of a trip around France this was our midway treat and we felt really treated! Staff really friendly and helpful on reception. The room was massive with really comfy bed, good sized bathroom and little extras. The roof top pool was such a relief from the hot weather and enjoyable, but long walks around the town (there is sooooo much to see and do ) We stayed in and ordered room service watching The huge TV with slippers and fluffy bath robes on. If you stay in Montpellier we can't recommend this hotel enough!!!
The hotel is very well run with very helpful and friendly staff. The swimming pool is a real feature , particularly with temperatures around 30c. I would advise everyone to use this hotel. The hotel is also convenient for the bus shuttle to the airport.
Good hotel in a good location. 5 min walk to central. Friendly reception/concierge. Clean. Spacious deluxe. Room a bit dark, but that's the style of hotel and more to my personal preference. Good bathroom amenities.
Very nice hotel, great location, modern rooms, perfect service, a very nice roof top with a swimming pool and a nice restaurant. If you need to stay downtown Montpellier you make the right choice with this hotel, walking distance from the train station and city center.
A very pleasant weekend stay for a friends' wedding. Swimming pool on the roof is small, but perfectly adequate. Only a small number of sun loungers though. Plentiful and good breakfast and friendly staff. 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town.
Being a repeat guest I am always pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of hotel staff, the valet parking service, by the comfort of the rooms. The rooms are small like in most French hotels, but large enough to be able to store one's luggage. Bathrooms are well equipped and the toiletries of excellent quality. I really feel at home here. Besides, the central location allows for exploring the old city on foot. Thank you very much!
We stayed in the Pullman Montpellier on several occasions with the kids. I'm not a great fan of the cubicle rooms (a family can select 2 connecting rooms or suites of the same surface as 2 rooms, which don't connect to extra rooms - we stayed in connecting deluxe rooms on each trip) and usually of Accor hotels but overall, especially considering the prices, we are quite satisfied and will probably keep on staying there when travelling to Montpellier (The planned 5 stars from the Pourcel brothers might change this but it remains to be seen once opened - there is a 5 star outisde Montpellier, Le Domaine de Verchant, but it has few rooms, and everytime we checked the price for a family of 4 in the remaining rooms came up higher than in a Swiss palace, whereas the food in both restaurants there is somewhat lower than in a Swiss posh Brasserie, hence we eat in le domaine de Verchant but sleep elsewhere - the Pullman restaurant is a good choice as well, although without the stunning set up) Hotel is not new but the rooms still look fine, daily cleaning is OK and we've always found the hotel staff there most pleasant. Location is very convenient, right next to the Polygone shopping mall, and within walking distance of the lively and largely refurbished old city center, as well as of the train station. The receptionnist can get a taxi coming within 5 or 10 minutes and there's a tramway stop outside the hotel. The terrace and outdoor pool upstairs are also nice if small. Internet is an insufficient, but we've unfortunately found it to be the case in many hotels, so it must be difficult to sort out. An easier improvement would be to extend officially the more than decent breakfast after 10am, especially that the buffet will stay on quite a bit past 10 when there are many customers. We have a hard time to be ready on time, despite liking the breakfast there, and found the breakfast room packed on week ends, when nearing 10 am. So overall a good experience, advised if one has to spend a night or more in Montpellier.
