Small Glass Shower Booth in room

This hotel is very convenient to Place de la Come'die. The shower was extremely small. The water spilled all over the floor even though the door was closed. I could hear my next door room TV and sex.

The hotel is on a pedestrian street in the center of Montpellier. The street is lively, there are good restaurants in the area. Although there's a bit of street noise during the evening, the hotel provided a fan which delivered just enough white noise and cool air to make this comfortable---at least in September. Management is friendly and helpful. I was attending a conference at the Corum (Montpellier's conference center), which is less than 10 minutes walk, on pedestrian streets and through a park. The hotel wifi was reliable. No breakfast service, but there's an excellent bakery just down the street. Overall, I thought that the hotel offered an excellent price for a room that was well-sized for one person.

The neighborhood was safe and quiet, the building had character, the owners were very helpful and it was quite clean. For my wife, with a sprained ankle, the fact that the hotel is on the “2nd” floor (in North America it would be the 3rd floor) could have been a problem, but fortunately they have an elevator (the two of us plus our luggage couldn’t fit in it, but I was able to run up the stairs and meet my wife and the luggage). The room was quite small - approximately 8 inches between the edge of the bed and the wall, and the hinged windows couldn’t be opened because they hit the bed. The bathroom was quite nice - a modern renovation, with good water pressure and drainage and a spacious shower. Overall I would describe it as the best 2-star experience.
