We are a husband and wife team that purchased this land in 2020. We privately own and operate a sustainable off grid property. We proudly run our business off solar power. We have a recycling and compost program along with happy free-range, pasture raised chickens. We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We work with locals to bring you tours, pastries, breads and hand crafted souvenirs for you to remember your trip.
Locally roasted coffee/tea delivery service and breakfast is available. We have vintage fridge that we turned into a free library. Bring a book to swap out or take home a book to enjoy. No pets are allowed. We do have 1 dog, Raven, and many friendly chickens.
Communal spaces are a fully equipped kitchen, grilling deck, Adirondack seating area, modern bathrooms and a cedar barrel skylight bathroom. Bathrooms are a short distance from the tent, less than a 1 min walk. Sauna is available by appointment to our guests. Strong Wifi available (will not reach Sage Tent). Astronomy tours available twice a month.
Firewood, fire starter, propane tanks (for heaters) and smores are available to purchase.
Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.
We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning. When you call, email or have questions, you will be talking with us.
We hope to welcome you! Keshia, Erik, Raven and the chickens
The accommodation is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. The accommodation also includes a coffee maker.
Note from host: Not allowed near tents. Parking lot only.

The Perfect Desert Oasis
Stayed at this lovely property in the Cedar Pod and had the best experience! We stayed here while competing in the Bears Ears Ultra. We took advantage of the sauna (incredible) and the communal kitchen, making burritos one night. We also spent an evening in downtown Moab. This is the perfect place for those who don't want to be in tourist-centric Moab and prefer a more relaxing, natural atmosphere.
The hosts were fabulous, providing us with tubs for hanging out at Foy Lake and bringing coffee in the morning. They have two sweet pooches and friendly chickens roaming around! Such a special place where memories were made—we will be coming back again and again!
Cheers!!

Incredible experience!
We had a great stay in the glamping pod! The tiny pod is charming and has great features and the hosts have all of the amenities for comfort. Perfect location for access to all of Southeast Utah’s treasures.
We loved how all the little details were taken care of. They provided everything you need to cook a meal, hot showers and flush toilets, a battery pack in the pod for your phone, lanterns, it's hard to believe there is no electricity! We loved the touches of the complimentary hot chocolate/tea/coffee each morning delivered to our door! The place was so wonderful and magical!
