This is a unique hotel that gives you the impression of living right in the middle of the jungle. The staff was wonderful and having Bobby, the owner's very sweet dogs great you and escort you to your unit is such a treat. The place is at the outskirts of Santa Elena, so very quiet but within walking distance of the town center. The units are modern, clean, well maintained and give you a cozy cabin-feeling.

This was a great hotel for my family’s time In Monteverde! For the price I think it’s a great option. The staff was extremely helpful, providing many suggestions and helping us book tickets for different excursions. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast (included in the price) was good. Would recommend!

Our little cabin was a great base for my 2 kids and I to explore Monteverde. Beds were very comfortable (but helpful to have earplugs for the fierce winds at night!) and breakfast was delicious. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Since we had rented a car, it was nice to stay somewhere with convenient parking for coming in and out while also being within easy walking distance of town.

It was fine as a base for exploring Monteverde and surrounds. Staff were super helpful with booking tours so we didn't have to think about any of that. Room was a bit dated and dark but ok for the price. Breakfast was ok, not amazing but fine. Location is good and you can walk into San Elena. A good option so long as you are out and about all day and not planning on spending too much time at the hotel.

So I want to write a review of this property because i really like it, everything was perfect and would highly recommend it for stays in the town. The staff are really helpful, its an easy walk to restaurants and stores, rooms are comfortable, breakfast was fine. However i want to take this space to really complain about Expedia. I have used their services for years but i was sooooo frustrated with them. I booked this hotel by mistake. When i tried to contact expedia immediately I could not get ahold of a real person to try to cancel the reservation. It was listed as an irreversible booking, but when i contacted the hotel immediately they said i could reverse it by contacting expedia. I wound up driving to the hotel and taking the room anyway but it made me furious at Expedia that they couldn’t tell me whether i could cancel it or not. All i wanted was an answer, all i got was a AI bot who just kept “ working on it” for 18 hours. Shame on expedia!!!! I’m hoping that i may get a response by writing this review.
