When we came down for breakfast, we were seated and no one came to take our food information. Only after sitting for 20 minutes, I finally got up to ask for someone to come and take our order. There were only 4 other tables of people and they all were being taken care of. Then when the coffee came out it was stone cold. I felt that we were not being taken care of because I got up to ask for someone to take our order. Almost like I was penalized for asking for help. Not good customer service.

Perfect for a couple and pet

Excellent and comfortable in every way. We love stating here and only 8 minutes to the Catmel shopping and beach. 2 suggestions would be to add a green area for pets and eliminate the surprise $30 a day parking lot charge.

The room was a great size. AC worked great and was a plus. Beds and pillows were firm if you like that. Watch out for the hidden fees. $30/night for parking and $10/night "service fee"

This hotel undersells itself. The property is really modern and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is ideal if you’re looking to explore the surrounding areas by car. Pool area is great. Overall my family and I really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.

Perfect location for spending time in Carmel and Big Sur. Great amenities. My kids felt very fancy with the robes and heated pool. Thank you for a lovely stay and comfortable rooms. Very cute and trendy.

Just OK. Updated motel, not luxurious or quiet

We felt the beds were very hard, with no padding, & thin sheets. Our patio smelled like dog poop, though we didn't find any. The faux grass needed to be cleaned. Our patio was open to a cement pathway to the front desk, so rolling luggage noise was often. Also some guests near us were very noisy, even awoke us at 6 am. Pool movie right outside our patio was also loud. Front desk very polite, chocolates purchased were excellent.

Perfect location if visiting Carmel and Carmel Valley. Rooms are big and quiet. Great food choices in both the front and back of hotel. Cross Roads and Barnyard. Nice to have an Irish bar with music next to back parking lot. From Stratch awesome breakfast a two minute walk.

Carmel Mission Inn was a decent hotel for our small little get away. We arrived early in hopes to get an early check-in but they were not able to accommodate us and in fact the room was not ready on time, we had to wait for another 30 minutes. The shower had no water pressure, but the manager had it fixed right away. So other than that I would just say that they should not charge $30 a day for parking (and this is not told to you up front, so even if you don’t have a car they will charge unless you tell them not to) over all the hotel accommodations were nice and clean.
