There were significant shortcomings for which we requested a partial refund - but have heard nothing, not even an apology. The gas fireplace, which was a crucial part of our decision to rent this property, was not functional. One double bed had no sheets at all, the other had only a bottom sheet, requiring the sleeper to use the blanket as a top sheet. The host's "solution" was to have the housekeeper hang a bag with a sheet on the front door handle the next day. There were minor omissions like no corkscrew in an otherwise full set of bartools, and major omissions like no furniture except beds in the second bedroom - no side tables, no chairs, no lamps, no chest of drawers. Made it very uncomfortable. Again, no response from the host after the stay. It could be a very good vrbo property - it was large and mostly clean - but needs these improvements.
