We are Montauk regulars and very impressed with Hero Beach. Rooms are big and functional. Great shower water pressure. Location is great right in town for walking, but far enough away from the bars to feel secluded. Pool is nice, right on beach, fire pits and bar on premises at night. Highly recommended stay.
It was a not pleasant stay and that has a lot to do with the management and the staff and how they handle thing. -The fridge in our room was poorly functioning -The ceiling fan has a loud noise -Expect to wait for about 30 minutes for a cup of coffee -We ordered some food on the pool and it was uneatable (the quinoa kale salad was literally frozen and the chicken BLT sandwich was anything but fresh; it looked as if it was made a month ago) -There was no electricity in our room for at least an hour on two days in a row To me this sounds like a lot of bad things for a guest to take in only two night stay!! I would not stay here again
Great hotel! Walking distance to the beach! Beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms are recently renovated and clean!
