On the ground floor we find:

- Pets: up to 2 dogs are allowed, €30 each animal. The EIN regulations require that dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please respect the livestock on the farm and avoid any type of incident.
- The price does not include the tourist tax (€1.10/person/night from 16 years old, applicable for the first 7 nights). It must be paid in cash upon arrival at the house.
- The introduction of electrical appliances from outside the house is not allowed.

Magical we want to go back!

This home and its location are pure magic. But someone considering this property should know some things that are not really clear on Homeaway: the location is remote and the road leading here is a tiny single lane road hugging the side of the mountain and crumbly in parts at the edges- and not for the faint of heart to navigate. There is no washing machine and there is no nearby market and you best come supplied with everything you need to enjoy your stay as once you arrive you will want to enjoy the profound peace and the walking trails around (it is inside a national park) and not want to leave for day trips- this place is really its own destinaiton. There are no pots in the kitchen and there was no bedding included. We realized this before we came and the manager made an exception and supplied us with linens- which was so so helpful as we traveled to this property form New York City and would not have been able to carry our linens with us. The best place to shop for groceries prior to arrival was in Olot which has a few big markets. It is also possible to buy in a small shop in Montegut. We borrowed pots from Dolores and Juan the loveliest neighbors and natives of the valley who live nearby and helped us check in. That being said- this place is pure magic and we dream of returning. We enjoyed every minute there. It may have been difficult to figure out many of these details without being able to speak Spanish (locals speak Catalan and Spanish and scant English if at all). However, if you get all the information in advance and are well-prepared you may be able to manage with less language skills. We could not have been happier or more grateful for the opportunity to spend time in this beautiful house and valley in Alta Garroxta. Simply magical! Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Hemos pasado un fin de semana con amigos en este alojamiento de montaña. Queríamos un sitio totalmente alejado pensado para estar tranquilos y disfrutar del fin de semana con amigos. Recomendable para gente que quiera estar aislado y relajado. Aunque no hemos salido, es una zona de paseos y excursiones para todos los públicos. El acceso es para algunos coches bajitos algo pedregoso a pesar de ser una pista relativamente plana. No hay cobertura hasta llegar allí por lo que es recomendable ir de dia. Por lo demas un sitio de desconexión y naturaleza.

Espectacular

Es una casa espectacular, con unas calidades y un diseño muy bonito y acogedor. El acceso a la casa es algo complicado si llevas un coche bajo, es una pista de 6-7 km aprox., pero poco a poco vas avanzando. Si quieres naturaleza en mitad de la montaña, lo vas a encontrar. Merece la pena.

Preciosa casa en entorno super bello

La casa nos ha encantado, incluso más que en las fotos.Lastima que tuvimos lluvia porque con sol hubiesemos disfrutado aún más. En la zona de los dormitorios hacía frío así que con un buen saco o ropa de buen abrigo mucho mejor. Me faltó un estropajo a estrenar para fregar la vajilla (por cuestiones de higiene) pero todo lo demás super bien.
