I stay at this hotel every time I go to Moncton on business. They recently did renovations and they look awesome! The staff there is amazing! They are by far the best staff of any hotel I stay at. The breakfast is really good, with lots of choices and the hotel is located right across from a grocery store which is great when you get tired of take out.
Quiet, serene room that has been updated nicely. The room was very clean with all the typical amenities. The area has a boardwalk that is interesting to watch the tide changes on the flowing river. Within walking distance is a grill/pub where one can get a good hamburger
A group of friends and I recently gathered for an evening reunion in Moncton and were fortunate to have chosen the Chateau Moncton as our venue. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms were lovely - very comfortable and well appointed, tastefully decorated and with scenic views of the tidal river and boardwalk. The person at reception (Kevin) was very helpful at check-in and check-out. Breakfast was included in the hotel rate and consisted of delicious hot and cold offerings served in a bright and airy space. Staff were friendly and efficient and encouraged us to linger over coffee which was most appreciated. The entire experience was enhanced when, the day after checking out, the hotel contacted us in a different location to advise that one of our party had left a cellphone in the hotel room. They offered to mail the phone the next day. We were very impressed with Gilles' efforts to track us down and follow up - a lesser hotel may not have bothered. All in all, a very positive experience, and we would all highly recommend this hotel to other travellers to Moncton.
I was awakened at 4 am with a stinging nose. This is from the chemical smells from the renovation work. After an hour the smell cleared form the room enough that my nose felt better. Overall beautiful room. View of the tidal bore coming in. Nice big pillows. Quiet. We would however rather save $50 and stay at the Quality Inn beside the casino but they were booked full on our night.
We stayed at the newly renovated Chateau this week. We were very very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are very modern and spacious and all commodities available. Someone from the hotel verified in the evening if we needed more towels, coffee etc. We had a nice view of the river that is bordered by a nice walking trail that takes right along The Petitcodiac River. It’s just minutes away from the Champlain Mall and right next to the exit to Wheeler Blvd which can takes anywhere in the greater Moncton area. Location is key to this hotel. A nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Recommended.
This hotel has undergone a major renovation of its guestrooms and public areas. The guestrooms are beautiful and service is exceptional. It is located a few minutes away from the airport and walking distance from downtown. Best hotel in Moncton and I will definitely come back.
We were very pleased with this hotel. Super location. Nice room. Nice staff and wonderful breakfast included. The hotel is now closed for extensive renovation which will make it more up to date. I would highly recommend Chateau Moncton and look forward to returning.
I stayed at this hotel the 15th of November, while attending a training course. The location was great, being only 5 minutes from the training site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rate was good. The room itself was large, and very clean. Got a very good night's rest. I would likely request a room on the river side when staying in the future, as the room I had was adjacent to Main street, which has a lot of traffic.
We chose this place because it was right next to a red river that runs backwards. After a day at Hopewell Rocks we could appreciate the physical processes involved and wanted more. From the road it looked really expensive, but in fact cost no more than average and turned out to be a great place to stay. Very welcoming staff understood just what we wanted and answered all our questions. Very comfortable and well furnished room. And a good, hot breakfast in comfortable surroundings next morning. What more could we ask for?
Clean, very good service, comfortable beds. Breakfast could have had a few more healthy options. It was a continental style breakfast included with room but if you really enjoy a nice hot/healthy breakfast at at a less hectic pace then you may want to consider finding a resturant close by.
