During the Monaco Yacht Show I stayed at the Quality Hotel Menton Méditerrannée. The hotel is located around 20 minutes’ drive from Monaco. The hotel was good but nothing special. Rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was okay. The garage however, was very nice to have. The staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful. Please note that you will need around 1 hour to get in Monaco from Menton I the morning (It’s easier to get to the hotel from Monaco than the other way around). In short, an okay hotel!

Our room was a Twin Superior on the ground floor at the back of the building. It was very clean and comfortable with a courtesy tray and kettle, including tea bags and a couple of portions of long life milk. The room was warm although the weather was exceptionally cold for the South of France. There was no noise from outside the room and a little terrace with table and chairs, accessible through patio doors. This would have been great in warmer weather. The bathroom was clean and modern with a shower above the bath, no problem at all with hot water. We were very lucky to be offered a breakfast deal at 5 euros a day, as breakfast was not included in our room rate. This was an excellent choice since there was a wide choice of food, everything delicious. The bread, croissants and pastries were freshly baked. The location is good, within a short walk of the seafront, shops, restaurants and everything of interest. The staff are friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel - I am surprised it isn't rated higher by other reviewers.

. Hotel Room Great, Location Excellent, Staff Perfect. A really great room with balcony and view over lovely garden and REAL French houses, located 5 mins from sea front, in a quiet street in middle of town, very close to rail station if you want to explore this part of the world by train, 15 mins from Monte (Money) Carlo, Monaco €2.80 return, very easy to get to San Remo (Italy). Staff are so helpful and really treat you like your the only guest staying there. I will be returning without doubt. As soon as possible, have been trying to put this review on here for weeks

The hotel is situated between 10 and 15 minutes walk from both the railway station and the bus station. Map provided by the hotel. For those driving the hotel has its own underground car park. The reception staff are multi lingual and who ever I spoke to was able to chat in English with me. I consider the hotel is very good, and is only 10 or so minutes walk from the marina. The budget room we stayed in was compact, clean and comfy with an veranda overlooking the next door apartments. We were in room 316, The bed was more king size then double and was very comfortable and each side had two pillows more available if required. There are the usual facilities in the room and bathroom that you would expect and also there is a Kettle, with Tea and Coffee provided. The reason we choose this hotel was that it provides Breakfast, Half Board,, and Full Board options when you book. We choose half board so we could travel around the area each day then return each evening to a three course meal in the hotels restaurant. The hotels comfortable lounge and bar are upstairs on level 7 which also has some wonderful views in the sunshine. After breakfast we went out and caught the bus or train to the various locations along the Rivera. Monaco is 30 mins by bus, By train "Nice is only 40 minutes, Cannes is 80 minutes and Italy is only 20 mins. Some good days out to be had. The Europeans value their public transport unlike in the UK. The fares are about a quarter of the UK prices. If returning to Menton we would gladly stay again at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in late september 2017. Cant fault the location, breakfast or the cleanliness. It was a short but pleasurable walk to the shops and beach. The breakfast had cerial, toast, pastries and other bits. Free coffee, tea and juices. Our only fault was our room was a little disappointing. It was very old and dark. Had we not seen our relatives room that they were staying in we wouldve probably thought this was normal for the hotel. Their room was beautiful. I was amazed by the size and the light in the room. That said it certainly hasnt put us off staying here again. We have booked for july this year. Hopefully we wont get the same room this time. Apart from our room being a let down we really couldnt fault the hotel at all. The rooftop area is lovely the staff are pleasant and its very clean. Our relatives who come every year stayed in this hotel last year with us because their usual one was fully booked. They have now said this will be their first hotel choice here in the future. Looking foward to our visit in july.

I booked 3 rooms as we travelled with family members. Rooms are nice. Location may not be best but grounds are clean and well kept. Some will like the onsite parkade, something quite unique in Menton. We parked in the street which was easy. We booked directly with hotel website rooms with breakfast included. Upon check in we realized that breakfast ended quite early and asked breakfast to be removed which was readily asked by reception staff (they asked that we returned vouchers wich we did). However upon check out we were informed that the rate could not be changed. Manager blamed it on nigh reception staff and did offer to waive any other charge which there was... none... Lesson learned: we will not return as they are many better alternatives in Menton. check out the Riva...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights during the last week of the year. The location is really at walking distance to the shops in pedestrian center, the beach, and the small casino. The room was quiet, spacious, clean and the bathroom had a nice modern shower. Breakfast was quite good and with a sufficient variety of food and beverages. Staff was professional and kind.

It is convenient, it works and it offers half board which is a great bonus in Menton out of season. To have been out all day and find you can have resonable meal in the evening is perfect for us. It is clean, the staff are very helpful and speak good Englishalthough we speak resonab le French. We will go back there again

Lovely welcome by reception. Hotel has no gym no pool but a great sun terrace on the top floor. Very nice to chill with a view of the sea in the horizon. It was myself and my boyfriend. The bed in a double room is too small for 2 grownup men but a large room was very comfortable. The hotel is lovely but a bit dated. The breakfast at 5eur is very good value for money (although it should be normally 15eur). Car park is 14eur extra per day. Overall a very nice stay and a good base to discover the French and Italian Riviera. Big thank you to the receptionist for being really friendly and customer focused at all time! They made the trip for us.

this was our third visit and it just gets better . comfortable rooms good food and great staff , speciallyl Marie on reception and Patricia and Simone in restaurant . we will be back, as the location and the climate are perfect for us.
