I stayed at this hotel for a three-day conference — my first visit — and was very impressed. It’s a beautiful 100-year-old building that’s been thoughtfully renovated. My room was comfortable, well-sized, and had everything I needed. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and spotless with a large bathtub.
The only downside was that the windows couldn’t be opened, as I like some fresh air in the room.
Breakfast was excellent, with a chef preparing omelettes, poached, and fried eggs to order. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. We also had an awards dinner at the hotel as part of the conference, which was very well done.
Overall, the room rates were reasonable compared to other hotels, and I would happily stay here again.
