My friends and I stayed for 4 nights at the beginning at November. We were given a ground floor room which was perfect as we had our own private patio with room for three sun loungers, table and chairs. The pools and the pool bar were only steps away. We were happy to spend the days lounging, reading, swimming and going to the beach. Riviera Marina is ideal if you want a peaceful quiet holiday. Liked the food so much that I kept going back for seconds. Loved the pizza/pasta bar and the seafood! Will be happy to stay here again if I go back to Gran Canaria :) Pros: quiet relaxing location, good food with lots of options, only a few feet away from the beach, clean room, late checkout available for €25 Cons: •There was light coming from the outer hallway at night and no way to shade the windows •The cocktails weren’t nice
Cockroaches in the restaurant and in our bedroom. Food was dreadful for vegetarians only option was salads. Definitely not a 4 star 🌟. Catered more for the French than English. I had to go to the spar to buy my food. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Had water poring in through the ceiling, apparently it was from the air conditioning,had the maintenance men in 2 days running,not pleased.
Don’t know what all the meanings about It’s a very nice hotel foods good so stop moaning I really don’t see anyone’s problems to be honest God knows what your expectations are Staff polite and very helpful
My friend and I recently stayed here for 10 days having spent a week here last year. The facilities, rooms and location are brilliant. Not a great deal for kids to do but for couples/friends it’s spot on. The food is not the best, nothing wrong with it just not really to British tastes, caters more for the continentals, we brits were a definite minority here. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Last year we found the “entertainment” virtually non-existent, however this year massively improved. Sports, games, events and activities throughout the day and full entertainment each evening. The entertainment team were amazing and really made an effort to include everyone, their spread of languages is astonishing. The whole team were great, but especially Manuel, he really made our holiday very special, he has so much energy and really knows how to get a crowd involved. Sadly he is moving to pastures new at the end of the month, but I hope his employer knows how excellent he is. All in all a fab holiday for 2 middle aged friends, Diane and Gill (aka the Bacardi Girls)

More focused Towards German guests staff done interact felt very secluded by them nothing to do there as be isolated if you’re looking for a night out or tons to do and things For kids to do book elsewhere the only good thing about being there was a restaurant down the road amazing food and company
Brilliant food superb staff, especially Ali,the pasta maker especially for the all inclusive restaurant, eat what you want for as long as you want to. My son had extra fun with pool table and all the special extra activities designed for kids alone. Brilliant swimming pool and all the facilities were well maintained. Would love to visit again.
Honest and candid review. Against; Having researched the hotel prior to booking I was assured by the Hotel that it was suitable for disabled guests. Our Tour Operator Jet2 requested an Adapted room for my sister who is disabled, we received confirmation that we had been allocated an adapted room and another room adjacent as we were a party of four sisters. On arrival at the hotel we were dropped off at the roundabout and advised the hotel was further down on the right. My sister walks with. two crutches so we had to manage her suitcase and hand luggage between us. The entrance to the hotel is a steep slope and/or steps. Reception did not offer any assistance with porterage On checking in we were advised by the Receptionist (Mateo from Benidorm - fancied himself as a bit of a Lady’s man) that they didn’t have any adapted rooms available nor any rooms adjacent. He said they had upgraded my sister to a sea view room and myself and my other sister were given another room opposite end of the corridor above reception with a fantastic view of breeze block pillars. We complained and “Mateo” said he would let us have 2 for 1 safety deposit boxes and that if we wanted to change rooms we would have to pay 140 Euros for an upgrade. Naturally we refused as the hotel were in breach of their agreement Also it states on their web site that safety deposit boxes are free for all inclusive! We spoke to the Jet2 rep the following day and it was agreed that they couldn’t move us until the day after. We had been advised we were being upgraded to junior suites next door to each othe. We reported to Reception following day and were advised they didn’t have two rooms next to each other and gave us keys to view two rooms First room was an adapted room which was not suitable yes it was a larger bathroom you could get a wheelchair in but no shower seat or handrail in the shower and floor area extremely slippy and situated right in front of the bar area so both room and location not appropriate The second room was smaller than the room on the 1st floor however myself and my other sister agreed to relocate so we had wc facilities at ground level in the pool area for my disabled sister. As There are no toilets in reception and the toilets at the pool area are down a flight of stairs so disabled guest have to go back into reception and go down the lift to restaurant level to access toilet facilities The hotel advertises two bars however only the pool bar was open with plastic glasses the lounge bar has entertainment some evenings but no bar service One night we had to ask them to switch the lights on outside as there were no lights on in the patio area outside the lounge bar area There is a weekly BBQ 12.30 to 1.30 but be warned it is the quickest BBQ ever nothing left after 1.15 Entertainment leaves a lot to be desired No where to walk to in the evening only so many times you can walk up to the Spar Supermarket Food mediocre,breakfast best meal of day. If you like seafood no problem but if you don’t food is hit and miss Problems with patio doors not locking we had to request they fix the locks in both rooms Good points: Cleanliness very good throughout Good central location for sight seeing Nice pool area and close to beach Ideal if you want a complete chill out and happy with mediocre food They did meet my request for a fridge with an ice box Summary - We ate out quite a lot even though we were in all inclusive we really enjoyed Puerto Mogán and the old town of Las Palmas Puerto Rico very commercialised Would we go back NO would we recommend NO Not suitable for disabled guests or people with reduced mobility Shame really this could be a really nice hotel and get back to 4 star but need to stop ripping guests off by asking them to upgrade on arrival and improve quality of food. Patio door locks all need checking and leaks in shower area. The hotel needs to recognise they are catering for multi national and not just the French
The worst hotel iv stayed in for all inclusive cant get food or drinks past 11pm want serve you if you stand poolside bar have to walk round to other side of bar to get served food same day I day out plus have to be out of pool by 6pm .pros rooms nice and clean and so are grounds and looks nice over sea in morning otherwise dont recommend it .and iv still ere wish i wasn't
So me and the misses decided to have our first holiday together and this place was the perfect balance of relaxation and if you wanted to go for a night out you were 5 minutes in a taxi to Puerto Rico where the night life is buzzing! The hotel was always clean and the staff were always welcoming on the way in and the way out! The rooms were very modern and although the bathroom wall was all glass we liked the fact that it was quirky! Meal times were interesting as there was many options and sometimes was the same food but you can’t expect them to change the menu every week! Can’t thank the entertainment team enough! Honestly made such good friends and they honestly cared about everyone! They went beyond there job by coming over sitting down having a chat and making sure they could help you whatever it concerned! Honestly such a great bunch of people and wish them all the best in the future! Safe to say I’ll be back in years to come and would recommend going especially that it’s not to expensive!
What can I say. Definitely not a four star hotel. After reading reviews was disappointed to discover that not as good as was expecting it to be. The food at the hotel is repetitive and after a few days of being there, it was the same things repeated at meal times. The chicken nuggets they were serving at snack times, what can I say, I would not have fed them to an animal, they were appalling and not chicken either. The worst I have ever had. They will ask you to upgrade when you get there, don't be blinded by this as they are not much difference to the other rooms. We had the magnum suite and paid 140 euro extra for this and we had the safe free which did not work properly and sun loungers on the balcony. It was a nice clean room and the hotel was very clean so could not fault this. The entertainment was poor. One night they had a music quiz in one room which we took part in and it was good fun but the only nights entertainment we did enjoy. They had a casino next door and was told could not go in as English which was not good. After speaking to many people there it was felt that English people were a hinderence to the hotel. The reception staff were the only people I felt that I felt were happy to help all. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. The pool area was not safe. There was broken tiles around the pools and the pools are dirty at the bottom.
