It's hard to tell if this is a busy hotel that is just finishing the busy tourist season and needs to catch up on its maintenance and upkeep or if they are doing just enough to get by. It could have gone either way since I arrived on a busy Sunday and it was obvious that a lot of families with children were checking out. I imagine if it was like that all winter, they place would take a beating by the time spring arrived. You will have to check with someone who stayed there in May to see if they caught back up. Otherwise the Hotel was OK. Not a beach resort not a real dive. The pool looked fine for the kids and even on a weekend night they place didn't look too rowdy. As a business traveler I took a 1 bedroom with a small kitchen because it makes it easier to eat healthy and the hotel provided that. You are located in a mixed use neighborhood with some low level shopping, office parks, single family homes and apartments. So not a bad part of town. Not particularly close to the beach or tourist areas. The staff seemed nice and friendly. Always polite and helpful, you really couldn't ask for much more. The best part of the place.
I want to start by congratulating new front desk employee Lota! Wow I am so amaze by her service and professionalism. My experience was amazing! My family and I live 5 miles to the hotel and we love to get away on a nice weekend get away. This hotel is perfect! We had such a great time and so much to do. We had a BBQ by the pool and my kids enjoyed playing basket ball. We went to the GYM and so many equipment it felt like home. Also to mentioned the breakfast is one of the best it felt like we were at Dennys! So much great food! The best part is the service from the staff is very welcoming. It started with Selena welcoming us with a smile and professionalism. Thru out the day Lota was such a great host always providing us with anything we need it. My kids love her. She was always going above and beyond. Residence inn should be proud to have her as part of the team. Over all thank you everyone for leaving great memories and always meeting expectations. We will definitely come back!!!!
I made a reservation for a very early morning (1:00 a.m.) check-in to visit a close relative in a nearby hospital. When I arrived, I discovered that the hotel had "sold-out" its rooms, in spite of my reservation. I was offered a room at a hotel over 30 minutes away in a city with which I was unfamiliar. I ended up sleeping in the hospital lobby.
Disappointed in the lack of cleanliness in this facility. As a Marriott fan, I was very upset in the general smell and feeling of this establishment. I understand it is a family place, but the cleaning, rooming staff must not have the right equipment. The carpeting smells and the general feel is that they don't clean regularly.
We booked this hotel back in December for a trip in February. It was easy to book right on there website. They don't charge up front you pay when you get here. We booked at two bedroom. It was perfect it had a small kitchen and a pull out couch. The hotel itself was perfectly located. It was close to the main highway and near lots of shopping and grocery stores. The only complaint I have is that there should be more parking because it gets crowded and it was hard to find a spot. They have coin washers and dryers. They even provide the detergent for you. You need to bring quarters though they don't have a change machine. However they can give you a roll of quarters for ten dollars. They have a nice size outside pool and basketball court. Breakfast was free and it's good the coffee was excellent. Overall this is a really nice hotel and we plan to come back when we visit Florida again. I recommend this hotel.
Wow......Literally blown away by the greatest service I've ever had! The rooms so clean so fresh, the staff AMAZING...during this tough time for my family and myself I've made new family thank to Donald and Brittany they are IRREPLACEABLE! Thank you for everything
We ended up in this hotel after an awful experience with an Airbnb house, so we had low expectation given it was a last minute booking (it was actually cheaper to book at the front desk than any of the main travel websites we researched). Breakfast was pretty good, the rooms were clean. One thing to notice is that the sofa beds are not really comfortable for an adult (ok for kids maybe). Also, we had a bogus charge for a movie we couldn't possibly have watched. This was quickly fixed at checkout time. One tip I could share is that we were able to borrow towels from the hotel when going to the beach (even though the beach is about a 40-minute drive from it), they had no issues with us taking 4 towels with us.
Stayed here with family. The property is located conveniently from Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami Beaches and is a very good alternative to hotels in those areas. There are ample restaurant choices around but you will need a car. They serve a very well stocked breakfast buffet and rooms are specious and clean. We arrived late on a Saturday night and the hotel was full. We had booked two beds but had three children with us. Front desk attempted to find us a bigger room but none were available. We were moved to a two bedroom unit the following day for the rest of our stay of four days. Family loved it so much that stayed here again on our way back from Key West. Will strongly recommend for all the good reasons.
Not very impressed with the service of this property. Room was noisy and on the first floor tucked in another building. When traveling alone I request thru my profile higher floors. They were not able to accommodate not try. The toilet was going off all night waking me up every time. The parking lot is dark and completely full. I had to park by the Courtyard and walk alone thru the lot late at night. There are several other hotels near by and more being built I will most likely not return here. Sorry
A five storey L-shaped building that features a baseball court in its yard, so you might opt for a room facing out. We found everything perfectly up to standards and in working order during our stay, and service was excellent, from honoring our room request, to breakfast, to housekeeping. Good job, well done. The location is a very quiet one, same for the other guests during our stay, so we had a really good night's rest. A bit more space poolside might be nice to have, but hey, this isn't listed as a resort. We'll be back.
