Dolphin Watch was truly the perfect setting for our family get away. My Sister, my husband and myself, wanted to give our aging parents a wonderful family vacation that was easy going and steps to the beach. My Mom is visually impaired and Dolphin Watch could not have been closer to the beach and water for her! She was able to see enough and while the stairs are a tad steep going down from the deck to the beach, they are sturdy and well laid out. Little one and aging family may need an extra hand getting up and down, but again, it's well laid out.
The house is a cozy beach themed cottage, with direct walk out into your own private beach. The views were top notch, and the daily beach chairs and umbrella set up for 4 people was perfect! We had a 5th person, so just talked to the guy setting up our chairs and he added us one more chair as needed.
The house had everything we could need, and we never saw a bug in site. Coming from Texas with loads of mosquitoes, that was impressive!
The house is a great location. Close enough to walk to a restaurant or two (Captin Dave's is great fyi), and we rented a golf cart through them to have easy access to coffee and such without driving our big SUV (Bad Ass Hawaiian Coffee is AMAZING! Give them a try!).
Overall our stay with Dolphin Watch was perfect. The house was clean, the owners very prompt to help with any hiccups, and they even gave us great restaurant suggestions (go to Boschamps!!!). We will be back for sure!!!
