Oh my- they were in the middle of renovating- I would NEVER had stayed there. When I checked in - another customer and I waited 5-8 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in. There was only one elevator in the front of the place, my room was in the back!! Limited parking. My room was not cleaned. The hand lotion bottle was opened and half used, my blanket on the bed had a burn hole in it. The glass table top had “stuff” dried on it. I had trouble getting my room warm, the thermostat stuck at 68 degrees, even though I’d turned it to 80. I ordered a hamburger from Rudy’s Red eye grill in house. I asked how long, they told me to come get it in 20 minutes. When I did, the fries were cold. No napkins or plastic utensils, no salt or pepper. Terrible!!

The good; Walking distance to downtown White Bear. Close the the lake. Easy Freeway access. The staff was very prompt handling requests. The restaurant was good, with rooftop seating a bonus. It was nice to be able to order room service, although there were not any breakfast options. The not so good; The restaurant was a little expensive, and not a great value. Housekeeping missed my room two days in a row, but did a good job when they serviced my room. My biggest problem was noisy cars in the parking lot, just outside my room window. One guy was working on his truck every day, creating an annoying racket, and running his diesel truck in the middle of the night. I complained to the front desk, but was told they couldn’t really do much to get him to quiet down. That was disappointing. And two employees sat in their cars listening to very loud music until their shift started. All in all though, I would stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone. I would take room location into consideration though.

Great location. Very close to downtown White Bear. Great staff. Each time I asked for assistance, it was addressed immediately. The only negatives were minor; housekeeping missed my room one day; some of the people staying here were a little noisy; and being adjacent to the parking lot, I was subjected to loud engines and loud stereos a few times; and due to the Covid situation, they are not serving warm breakfasts (cereals and such were available at the front desk). But overall I’d recommend this place to anyone, and would stay here again.

Very pleasant, garden-like setting right outside our room door into the pool area

excellent location great restaurant and easy access from downtown minneapolis.

Unless you want to stay up until 2am, I do not recommend getting a poolside room. Kids were in the pool loud as could be much past ten. It finally quieted down around 130am

I did not like the location. I like the rooftop bar.

Love the in room jacuzzi bathtub and fireplace My room was off the pool and therefore noisy

The hotel is nicely appointed with an amazing attached restaurant (Ruby’s). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is an exceptional value for the price. I plan to stay here again for my next visit to the area.

Close to a beautiful downtown and a great pool area

Ashley the Sales Manager was amazing and a delight to work with.

Overall nice hotel...restaurant and rooftop bar looked nice but didn't get a chance to check it out. Very tight parking and limited acces to turn left back into exit roads but eventually found back exit...hotel staff should point that tip out to new guests.

My husband and I keep coming back to this hotel because it's clean, friendly, well-located, quiet, pleasant, and safe. We also really like the restaurant, Rudy's. We didn't use the pool ourselves, but the pool area is a nice place for socializing. We did use the hot tub and that was really nice. The hotel has a good workout room and also laundry facilities if you need them. Apart from having a comfortable room, the friendliness of the staff really stands out. Everyone we encountered during our stay was great.

The room was great except the pillows were among the hardest I've ever tried too sleep on. Apparently several, people have co,loaned about them and they are scheduled to be replaced. The facility is nice, but it's not easy to find it from the highway, especially at night.

Hotel nice and suite very comfortable. Bit disappointed when it came to Temps around and in pool and they were cold. We were not the only ones feeling the chill when it came to this.

This was one of the best vacations I have had and will definitely stay there again

You would think for $145 per night stay there would be a fridge in the room and the ice machine down the hall would work!! :( I have stayed in $45 per night stay hotels and had a fridge and everything worked

Great Restaurant 'Rudy's', great helpful friendly staff, good clean room, pool area very nice, fitness center good, plenty of parking, free breakfast, very nice and a great value. Good water pressure, toilets that flush, sinks/tubs that drain. Could use more lighting inside room. Free ear plugs a plus if light sleeper. Three blocks from White Bear Lake so u can stroll down there to walk...lake has public beach and parks.
