We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Beautiful spacious house with plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. The kids enjoyed playing in the play area. The boat house was wonderful.The hosts were very accommodating for all our needs. We loved our time in the pool.

Our Family had an amazing trip together. The house was perfect for accommodating all 15 of us, and was not too big, but not too small, as my granddaughter described it. Everything went well with our check-in and the kitchen was clean and well equipped with items needed for our stay. As expected, when staying in a vacation home not everything is going to be in perfect condition, but overall, the house was amazing for meeting the needs of people of all ages. The boat dock and supplies were enjoyed tremendously by all. However, the amount of steps it takes to get there is not recommended for the elderly or people that are not in the best of health. I would recommend this home to any family that is looking to have a great time together.

Great place with a wide range of amenities for all ages. It is so great to have a pool AND lake. Could’ve used a few more items in the kitchen, like hot pads and a can opener that works. And also could’ve used some cleats on the boat dock to tie up boat. There was nothing to tie to.

This is a beautiful, beautiful property. We suggest the cleaning crew prepare the property and pool more thoroughly for guests. We missed a paid day and a half in the pool.

Quiet lake location with a beautiful view

We came to Lake Anna on a family vacation, with ages ranging from 1-89. The house is located in a quiet section of the lake with a great view. The house was well suited for those of us in the age of 5-65, but the steps outside were a challenge for those who were older, and the open deck to the steep steps were not the safest place for our 1 year old. The pool is great! We paid to have it heated since we were there late September. The owners kept it at a nice temperature for us The fire pit is a nice area to sit and enjoy the view and a fire. The downstairs patio where the hot tub was located needed a lot of attention. The furniture and rugs were not prepared for our stay. The rug in that sitting area had black and green mold all over it. This was the only area which was covered, but we were unable to use it because of the condition it was in. The inside of the house was nice but again could have been cleaner- lots of cobwebs. The air hockey table was fun but the location in the loft was loud for others not playing. The pool table is in the basement and is great ! The owners were quick to get back to us when we informed them of the things that needed fixed or TLC.

Great Stay

Awesome house, great location. On a chill part of the lake. Enjoyed the dock and spacious sleeping situation. The kitchen is outstanding. Hosts were prompt and polite. Food lion, abc are 5 minutes up the street. Would recommend and stay again.

Great NYE stay for families!

We booked this impressive home to spend New Year’s Eve with our friends and children. The house was a great size, plenty of space on the main floor for the adults to socialize while kids slept on the floors above and below. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views immensely. Our one regret is that we didn’t choose to stay during a warmer month so we could take more advantage of the waterfront property. For kids, we ranged from infant to 3. There were plenty of nooks for dark sleeping spaces and lots of floor space in several of the rooms for toddler beds or portable cribs. The sandbox was a huge hit for the older ones with a slide and rock wall. There were several toys there, I’d recommend bringing a few more like we did. We didn’t find any “baby gear” on site but we didn’t expect to (just sharing in case anyone is wondering). For adults (and older kids), there were plenty of indoor things to do as you can see in the pictures. The game room above the garage was great for the late nighters to keep volume low in the main house. Final notes on kitchen and dining, lots of counter space and a great stove top for cooking large meals! We found all needed equipment in drawers and cabinets, along with some seasonings we forgot. There is only one fridge, we filled it for only a couple of days but for a big group for a week definitely bring coolers. There is an ice maker which was a nice find. The distance to the DC area was ideal. We definitely hope to rent again in the summer!
