Well, despite calling and having a staff member answer "Ambassador Hotel," I was actually staying at the low rent cousin across the street (the Ambassador Inn). While I didn't mind walking across the street to the bar, the room was incredibly disappointing. I was there for job interviews and there was no closet, so I had nowhere to hang my suits. My partner and I went to an amazing restaurant, and the refrigerator turned our leftovers into ice pops. The phone in my room didn't work at all. The wifi was spotty, despite it being listed as one of the amenities. Never again. I honestly feel like this borders on false advertising. My room looked nothing like the one in the picture, and the amenities were not what they were represented to be.

Went here for the paint wars at the rave. When we first got there was upgrade to the main hotel since they weren't too busy... which was nice. The room was nice wasn't too far from the ice machine or the elevator. However the sofa bed in the room was so worn/used that it was extremely uncomfortable to lay/sleep on and when you sat on the sofa you sank between the cracks. This should of been my first clue. I wanted an extra blanket and pillow to stay warm and i politely went to the front desk and asked for it and said I didn't mind waiting for it. The person at the desk said the housekeeper would bring it up. After insisting the keeper bring it up once back in the room the house keeper called and asked if we still wanted it and sounded like it was an inconvience. We also had to replace/deactivate our room key multiple times because they would get demagnetized/deactivated from being next to a phone or any electrontic device. The part that really ruined my stay was the staff and management suggested anyone who attended the paint wars concert to hose down outside in the middle of the night in the cold. They were more concerned about what they spent on new bedding/towels for the rooms than their guests health. I definitely won't recommend staying here nor will I ever go back; even if it was complimentary or was offered to be paid to stay.

The room was very clean. It had great W-Fi and the Cable was pretty good. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was excellent and if you wanted fine dining, you walked right across the street to the Hotel. The exercise room was nice. But there were few amenities. The freezer portion of the mini-fridge was so iced over you couldn't use it. There were only 2 glass coffee cups and you had to wash them out on your own, they didn't give you fresh ones every day. The decor of the Inn was very dated and could use remodeling. But for the price and location of the Inn, I would definitely recommend it.

Big rooms with plenty of space. Bathrooms are a little tight.

Room was clean but could use better lighting, very dark. The breakfast was poor quality, never any variety in a week, I only drank the juice and yogurt. But the staff was informative, friendly and attentive.

1 block from the concert venue. It worked out great.

Nice rooms, were upgraded on two rooms for the evening. The staff was very courteous and the bar served an outstanding selection of beers.

We were treated awful on arrival. There was a bug in the room and we told we had to pay for parking after we arrived. It was a terrible experience. Would never go back!

My boyfriend and I stayed here because of the location. We were getting up at 4:45 am the next morning to head to the PGA Championship and the hotel was quiet even when we went to sleep early and the staff was very helpful when we checked out at 5:00 am.

The hotel is in an excellent location and it is very nice to have shuttle service within a 3 mile radius. The food in the restaurant was really good but the drinks in the bar were even better! (Bloody Mary's)

This was my first stay at this hotel. I was pleased with the ambiance, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. During hectic, stressful business trips, the last thing you want to worry about is issues at your hotel. This hotel made my business trip very smooth and hassle-free.

I have been using this location for the past few months with work travel and it is a perfect location for me. I have no issues at the location and the staff is always friendly and helpful when needed. rooms are always clean and kept up along with other areas of the hotel. I would say that the rooms are dark with lighting the eyes have but a minor issue for me.

Overall the room was nice and clean with comfortable beds and a few cable channels.

Everyone that worked there was friendly, knowlegable and willing to offer suggestions when I was feeling indecisive about what to do or where to eat. The hotel is within walking distance of a ton of historic landmarks of MKE, the immediate geographic zone has modern comforts like Starbucks, and the parking at this hotel is only $10/day- did I mention their shuttle will take you almost anywhere in the city if you are flexible with your schedule. The room was charming and reminded me of the old black and white movies. The guests were fascinating. The breakfast room has one table for 4 people and there's stools at a bar... But plenty of standing room and the community that emerges is breath-taking. It was the oasis I needed and the best place to rise from the ashes... I encourage anyone who frequents, visits once, or even lives in Milwaukee to stay here at least 2 nights any time of the year and just be open to the sights, the sounds, the others present and enjoy the journey that starts at the Ambassador INN at Marquette.

Overall the room was good and you couldn't beat the cost. Staff was very friendly. There wasn't any parking in the lot next door but we were able to stay in the parking lot at the hotel across the street. However that was an extra $10.00 We went to the rave for a concert which was less than a block away so the location was perfect.

I was staying at this hotel to visit the rave, which was literally next door. The location couldn't have been better. The room was spacious and clean and allowed us all to get ready in separate parts of the room, and in private. The staff was very friendly, and parking was amazingly cheap! My only issues were this (and they're minor)... There were two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Yet. There was only 1 remote. That was strange. And my biggest issue was the breakfast. It was free, so I didn't expect much. But. Another person staying there while eating had curdled milk. Only one part of the toaster worked. And the biggest problem was there was only one table with 4 chairs. There was not enough room for everyone in the hotel to eat breakfast and we had to eat while standing. But, overall the hotel was very good and I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I was in Milwaukee again!

One bartender and server on staff on a Monday night just before a concert made service a bit lengthy. But the free shuttle service to downtown was great and on time. It wasn't too bad of a hotel for the price and amenities.

The hotel is very close to Marquette University. It's ideal for students and for travelers that are trying to save money but stay in a comfortable place. There are not too many restaurants around that area but the hotel offers a free shuttle service to downtown or near locations.

Comfy beds, clean rooms, excellent staff. Just your average hotel. We were just there for a quick overnight trip so it worked well for us.

Loud neighbors, desk clerk was rude in morning when I mentioned the loud neighbors. The breakfast area was messy with food all over and empty containers. I asked for coffee because it was empty and the desk lady told me it was over in 20 minutes why would they make more. The door had ketchup or blood on it. The only positive was it was within walking distance to the venue I was attending. There is a parking lot but you have to pay $10. When booking online using Paypal you have to pay an additional $60 to secure the transaction which isn't disclosed before hand but you are supposed to be reimbursed. Definitely if you are into drinking and partying this is the place for you to stay as the desk help says nothing....
