We enjoyed the place a lot as it is located very close to the city centre and we did not have to spend much on transport while looking around. The ambience of the place was good and it suited our taste and mood
We stayed for 3 nights in a smoking room with no ashtray (no balcony). Old rooms, need new paint and furniture, curtains with holes, broken hair dryer. Breakfast was good, but after the first day, they did not provide pancakes anymore. Nice restaurant. 5 min to the metro station.
Stayed here for two nights. Really poor quality!!Rooms are tired, staff is not helpful at all and facilities are cheap and of 2 star quality. Though rooms are big but outdated with 1980 tired feel. Breakfast is average and staff served me some leftover coffee which was disgusting!! Never ever going to stay here even for free complete waste of time and money!!
we had a decent room and the breakfast was included. breakfast buffet was an excellent spread and all you can eat. the pool was not heated but refreshing for a quick dip in the sun. it is not downtown however subway is very close, only about 4 blocks walk and goes downtown. there are a few things to do in lobby for kids.
Service was slow in the bar area and restaurant. The limited number of staff on reception causes delays in checking in.(20 min for fast track?)Walking distance to the metro station that takes you to Milano Centrale but still far from the city (20 min on the underground)The room size was good, a little dirty and have really become out of date - needs refurbishing, curtains very very dirtyThe room key then did not work. Twice. The light flashed red. So I had to trailer down to reception twice. I've stayed in Novotel around the world but this one was by far below standard for the name.
The hotel is located close to Milan's city center. The room was clean and tidy and pretty silent (window to the back yard). The design is functional and familiar from all Novotel hotels. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was very good, too. I would recommend it for both private and business travel.
We stayed here with my family, 2 adults and 2 children in one room.it was an executive room and was really nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed which my two children used.we had the "city breakfast" which was 7 euros per person and consisted of a hot drink, fruit juice and fruit and as many pastries as you wanted...and the children ate free. We found this good value compared to the main buffet breakfast price of 14 euros pp.the kids enjoyed using the x box Kinect in reception and the staff on reception were really helpful providing maps and suggestions where to visit.they also printed out train timetables for us. I would stay here again....excellent hotel for family
Friendly staff and good breakfast. Superior rooms are very small comperaring to other Novotels. Curtens should be washed immediately. An espesso machine in the room is neseccery, the hotel is in Italy.
Stayed two different days during same week. Quick check-in and check-out, excellent breakfast, quite sorounding, close to tram station (2 min) and metro station (5 min). When placed the reservation we requested a non-smoking room at an upper floor and we received it for first stay. For the second stay the clerk tried to give us a smokers room on 3rd floor under excuse that the hotel is full, even that our order was from Nov.30, 2016. Obviuosly we refused it and finally received a non-smoking room at 2nd floor. In both rooms we had safe box but with inadequate or missing instructions how to use it.
The front desk staff were very friendly. There is a free unguarded parking lot in front of the hotel with room for 8-10 cars. We were lucky enough to snag one of the spots. Otherwise you need to pay 15 Euro/day for the underground parking or park on the street and move your car before 0800. The hotel is convenient to the metro station and it is a safe walk at night back to the hotel. Unfortunately when we were there at the end of March it was warm and we could not get the air conditioning to work. We had to sleep with the windows open which was a big problem. We had a 3rd floor room facing the front of the hotel. Between all the outside noise during the night and the smoke wafting up to our room from people smoking in front of the hotel we got very little sleep the 2 nights we were there. Breakfast was good for Italy but not as good as the Novotels in Austria and Germany.
