Modern and sophisticated hotel. Everything was perfect since the checkin until the checkout. Best staff ever. They were really helpful and sympathetic with us, especially Jenny that help me if everything that I asked.
The entrance to the hotel and the lobby are undoubtedly impressive, with various art installations dotted around. Check in was friendly and efficient and I made my way up to my room. First issue - there is a piece of the floor cut out in front of the lift which is covered by a glass panel. This gives the illusion of walking on air (assuming this is art). For someone that's afraid of heights and gets slight vertigo, this was not a good thing and there was no real way to avoid it. Second issue - the floors with the rooms are quite dark as the walls are painted black with some white graffiti. My room was average at best. It was small, relatively plain and one wall was painted a horrible shade of orange. There was no view from the window and it was quite noisy at times. The minibar wasn't switched on so the drinks weren't cold. Stocks weren't replenished throughout my stay. The bathroom was fine. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but did order room service and it was terrible. I should have known as this is essentially an NH hotel with some added bells and whistles and the food in NHs is universally awful. Dry chicken, dry vegetables and none of the fries that were promised on the menu. The location is also out of the city centre so it was quite the trek to my office. Overall, the communal areas are very "fashion" but everything else is slightly style over substance.
Where do I start?? From booking to leaving this hotel was incredible.. not only is the hotel itself designed to make you feel like a princess (or prince of course) for the night but the staff are an absolute credit too! Jenny & Alessandro really helped us with everything we needed, from late check outs to restaurants and things to do in the area the hotel helped us with everything!! Now for the rooms... unbelieveable! The toiletries are even amazing! Everything is pristine clean throughout and the extra touches make your stay completely memorable.. I can honestly say having travelled worldwide from 5 star in Dubai to 5 star in LA this hotel wins hands down for everything! I can't wait to come and stay again! Well done Nhow!
I love this hotel! The design is Beautiful. You feel the warm Welcome right from the entrance. The service is full of little attentions. Thanks for the message at the mirror. And the food is delicious as well. Great Place to stay.
Great, modern hotel offering a lovely interior and overall pleasant stay. Breakfast is a bit pricey if it's not included, so make sure to locate a nearby cafe (they do have various opening times) We were impressed by the level of service we received too and the daily replenishment of amenities.
The staff is nice. The hotel brekafast is real expensive but offer a good choice of quality food. The room is small, curtains didn't close properly, the bed is uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. It was just one night but would have changed hotel for the second one. Conference rooms are OK.
We had a fabulous weekend at Nhow Milan for my Birthday. The hotel is so cool & stylish. The staff are all so helpful & the hotel decor is brilliant. It is a bit of a walk to get into the centre of Milan but l strongly recommend walking as Milan is such an interesting city. There is a Museum directly opposite and plenty of bars close to the hotel. We visited Duomo Cathedral which is quite a walk so make sure you take comfy shoes, we got a cab the next day & that cost 13Euros so it showed how far we'd walked the first day. I was brought a birthday cup cake at breakfast on the morning of my birthday & the staff sang happy birthdays which was lovely. We had a brilliant time there so l could not recommend this hotel anymore 😁
We stayed at Nhow Milano for our last night of a 10 day trip across Italy, we were rather exhausted actually! And this was the absolute perfect stay, beautiful room - chic and comfortable. Amazing bathroom with a very much enjoyed deep bubble bath. It was like a miniature suite rather than a standard room. The front desk staff on check in were very friendly and helpful, considering we would have looked quite scruffy on arrival as well (travelling with back packs in 40+degree weather will melt anyone!), no one even batted an eyelid and went out of their way to answer questions and make us feel welcome. The entrance and lobby of the hotel are also rather eye-catching and unique and really have the wow factor when you arrive. The overall look is very modern and colourful and felt fitting to the fashion area in which the hotel is situated. This particular trip was our honeymoon too, which I had put down in the 'other notes' box when booking, and really appreciated the extra touches that the hotel made to our room to make it feel that bit extra special. We had a little dessert each waiting for us in our room, a cheesy message on the mirror and some towels shaped as hearts... I love a bit of honeymoon cheesiness! The breakfast is expensive here, but we thought sod it, it's our last morning here, let's finish in style! So glad we did, it was definitely worth the euros, so much food to choose from, all tasty, presentation of the food also fabulous. Style & taste equally good. We didn't have too much time to explore this time around, but there were some nice restaurants about 10-15 mins walk away. We tried La Tradizionale down the road and it was full of Italians and had a wonderful buzzy atmosphere. Would recommend. The Navigli district isn't too far either, and we were told that canals are worth a visit nearby. There's lots of interesting fashion-y places around as well and the general area felt like it was quite 'up and coming'. We did have some time to visit the main city centre and took the Metro from Porta Genova which was about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel and 10 minutes on the train to get to the Duomo station. We found the Metro much easier to navigate then the trams. We gave up with them! I would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Milan and would have liked a bit more time to explore the area a bit further.
I stayed with a large group during milan fashion week.the location is a little bit far from the duomo, but by publuc transport was o.k. The rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast very good and the coffee excellent
Enjoyed our experience of the nhow - it lives up to its marketing as being an arty and edgy in terms of the design and layout of the hotel, as well as ensures that the essentials are done well - like ensuring that the room is comfortable and well appointed and service is friendly and efficient. As you drive up to reception, you are greeted by a digital installation which reminds you you are not in your bog standard hotel! Before you reach reception, you are greeted with a complimentary refreshment stand which I thought was a super nice touch - me and my friends would stop by the stand for a glass of Pellegrino or a couple of naughty lollies on the way up to our rooms. Reception was friendly and efficient the whole time we were there - booking us cabs and even giving us a check out of 3pm which was really appreciated! The room again is not your bog standard room - one of those modern set ups where you don't have complete privacy between the bathroom and the bedroom. My male friend and I shared (not a couple) and found it quite funny and made it workable, but some might find it a bit awkward. I would love it if I came back with my significant other. Well appointed room with an espresso machine and comfortable bed and linens. My friend enjoyed using the turkish hamam + gym. It's located in the Navgli fashion district within walking distance to tons of bars and restaurants. It's about a 30 minute walk to the Duomo area. So i'd say it's super well located if you want to be situated in the cool fashion area, but not if you wanted to be in the thick of the traditional tourist sites of Milan. We fell in the former camp, so it was perfect for us. Didn't try the breakfast as we wanted to try the place down the road (God Save the Food), but kind of wish I did in light of the reviews of other reviewers here on Tripadvisor. I would come back to the nhow were I to revisit Milan again.
