It's not exactly near the duomo so if u like to take trains and the metro then this hotel you would love because it's located steps away from Milan central station. There's a mini mall there too. Great service, friendly staff, and very helpful too

Conveniently located close to Central Station and Airport Shuttle bus stop. The front desk personal made the check-in fast and efficient. The Bed could be more comfortable with a light quilt instead of bed sheets. Room was small but clean. Large offer of food for breakfast (great to have fresh squeezed orange juice !) The WiFi can be accessed only when the TV is on, which is fine and quite clever to prevent excessive use of WiFi. However, Internet is terribly slow at times and connection keeps dropping.

Right across from Milan Centrale rail station. Large quiet room. Extremely comfortable. Very good breakfast. Good WiFi. Pleasant staff. A few metro stops from points of interest. Would definitely stay again.

A little old hotel, but good location. Need to replace or redecorate some room facilities

HOTEL WAS VERY CONVINENT TO CENTRAL TRAIN STATION AND METRO . MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT BREAKFAST COMMENCED AT 7:00 AM PERHAPS A LITTLE EARLIER WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER

The hotel is at excellent location. There are lots resturant near by. The train station is cross street. The hotel provides excellent breakfast .

This was a perfect hotel for us. We got off the train that ended in Milano, asked someone in a business in the big train station where the Michelangelo Hotel was. We knew it was across the street but didn't know which door to go out of. This person pointed us in the right direction, and in no time we were there! What a beautiful hotel in the right place! They had also made a reservation for us in advance for a bus/walking tour as we had previously requested by email. They had also put us on the 16th floor with a commanding view of the city in 2 directions.

the location is excellent, room is comfortable and very clean and the staff is friendly

It was an amazing stay for 6 days, staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and love the jacuzzi, with good wifi connection. Being close to the Central station it was very easy and convenient for us to go around the city, and most of all I enjoyed the breakfast.

Hotel is clean, convenient to train, staff and restaurant were good, breakfast and internet were very good. The area around the hotel and train station is not so nice or clean and this hotel is a safe refuse from the storm. Perfect location to walk to Milano Centrale in 2 minutes rain or shine and get on with your travels.

I loved the room and actually stayed in the one night I was in Milan as I was so comfortable there and had been travelling so much. If you want to be in the heat of the action this is a little bit away but for travelling it was perfect and the staff and actual suite were amazing. I still wear my slippers!

Although short stay of two nights we enjoyed all on offer and would consider a longer stay in Milannext time. An absolute breeze to catch the train as the Hotel is just two blocks away from the Centrale station

I Had high hopes, but was disappointed. When checking in the front desk was very rude. They were rude again when I requested to have a meal packed for me and my wife(they offer this service if you are leaving before the buffet opens) I was told we were not leaving early enough for that service. I talked to someone the next morning and they let us eat, but it was rushed. The bed was smaller and more uncomfortable than any other I had seen in Europe. There was a pipe in the room only covered by a grate that was making loud noise(running water) all night. Overall, I was just surprised. I stayed in lower starred hotels on this same trip and they blew this hotel out of the water

Michaelangelo was a good choice. However, I was disappointed that there was not wifi in the rooms. The rooms were clean but small. Mini bar was complimentary (no alcohol though). It is close to Central Station so it was easy to hop on the train or grab a taxi cab. MXP is about 45-60 minutes away. LIN is definitely closer. The breakfast buffet is nice; they change some of the offerings each day and it is far from simply continental. The people reception were helpful and recommended great restaurants. They only had 4-5 they could recommend though so if you're staying several days, you'll want to venture out on your own or find your own options. Of the ones they recommended, Mamma Rosa was definitely my favorite. I would recommend this hotel to others and would certainly stay there again.

Great hotel and perfect location, right next to the train station--super convenient! Friendly staff and a very good value with breakfast and free wifi. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet room as well. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic vacation in this hotel. Convenient access to regional & local trains, bus and taxi, good area restaurants, but most of all, we love the modern design, the spacious & clean guest rooms, the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and overall the service and the ambiance. One thing we did not know is how very close the hotel is from the Centrale Stazione. Our luggage were loaded in the taxi before the driver ask where to. He was quite dismayed as he pointed across the street where Michelangelo Hotel is. We gave him 10 Euros for the trouble and he dropped us at the hotel. Sue-z-q.

We enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet. Great transportation, near the metro and central railway station.

It is steps away of the train station CENTRALE and Metro undergraund. You never hear a train sound, confortable ( european standart) using the super simple Metro system of Milan you can be in the Duomo or Castello in minutes, but you are not walking away, which for me is good since you are away from crowds, but close to place to move. In the i formation of the hotel they should say that is walking distance of the station, since as I didnt know, I was almost ady fr taking a cab, thta for sure they would took me and charge me .... On the other hand is big enough, si important in Europe, small ones can be cute and friendly but if you choose the wrong one those can be a nightmare Good luck travellers!

Hotel Michelangelo really delivers on amenities and convenience. Location is right across from Centrale station; easy to get anywhere quickly. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Room was very spacious (though I am not sure if my room was standard). Of course no in-room coffee or irons in Italy, but huge closets (yes, plural) with many drawers and shelves, big desk and work area, refrigerator with free soft drinks and water, safe, very nice walnut furniture and panelling (a little 80s looking, but was good stuff), electric drapes, scale, whirlpool tub, double sink, stool, clothes presser, Starnet TV but older television; not a great picture on many stations. Double built-in suitcase rack. Internet works well. Hotel is showing its age, though more from a decor and architecture standpoint; it is maintained fairly well but with a few worn spots. Breakfast was quite good.

We arrived at the Michelangelo Hotel tired from our flight and were greeted warmly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. As we had read in reviews, the minibar with water, sodas, chocolate and various cookies was free of charge and replenished everyday. The lobby had free internet which we appreciated. The breakfast buffet which was included in the price of the room was amazing. Everything you could possibly want and the service was friendly and efficient. As the hotel was right across the street from the Milano Centrale train station, it was very convenient and we would not want to stay at any other hotel when visiting Milan again. Don't hesitate to stay here!!
