Perfect location. Walking distance from Milano Centrale. Great eateries in the immediate nbhd. A supermercato called Penny's caters for all std needs like water at very low rates, chocolates and crisps. Very close to the Mediolanum. You can take the red line from Lima stn or yellow line from Centrale to Duomo. Centrale is much closer and the area looks much safer than the one around Lima. Very colourful property. Bright colours... but they do not assault the senses. Very good breakfast is a bonus.
The hotel is not too far from Milan central station. 5 to 10 mn walk to M2 line. The Hotel is Clean and recently refurbished. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are ok, but noise from other rooms could be a problem. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice.
We stayed 4 nights and I must say how delighted we were with the room and the service. We chose the hotel because of the proximity to the Milano Centrale station as it was only a 7-10 min walk. Breakfast was included and it was very good with plenty of choice. A great stay
Stayed here for four nights with my daughter. Best thing about this hotel is it’s location - close to Central Station and easy walk to the Duomo area and tourist sights, (25 min walk). We shared a twin room which was quite compact but had everything you would expect. Room was clean but some of the furnishings were a little worn out, (chairs, window blind). This didn’t impact on our stay at all. The breakfast is perfectly adequate, toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, pastries etc, and plenty of choices of juice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Milan is a beautiful city to visit and I would recommend the sightseeing bus to get around the city. We were hoping to visit the Design Museum which was closed with no mention of this on the internet, so try to check before you book if you want to visit a particular place.
I’m not sure whether or not my level of expectations were just set too high, but the hotel itself is very, very average because I have definitely been in much nicer 4* hotels in my time. Pros: Upon arrival, the staff were REALLY helpful and friendly, and the hotel is in a good location. It’s a 10 to 15 minute walk between two different stations (Centrale & Repubblica) so that was good. The lighting in the room and the bathroom is amazing, and the number of mirrors!!! (Ladies, I know this is important for you!) Quite clean!!! Cons: The elevator to go upstairs is TINY & I mean REALLY TINY!!! The hallways are tiny too, and quite dark. The beds are metal and the covers are so so thin so we were a little cold, and you are given only one pillow which is really flat... The size of the shower section is so bad. You have to be petite to be able to have a proper shower and move around. My brother is quite tall, he couldn’t even turn around inside. THE NOISE!!! You can hear noise from the hallway, the streets, upstairs, wind going through the gaps underneath the doors. The breakfast is standard - I’ve had better in other hotels in Europe.
This is a nice, average every day hotel, nothing to get excited about but nothing to be worried about either, Simple hotel, simple rooms. i stayed only one night but left thinking, for business in the area, its a clean room and a okay place to sleep, shower was a bath tub with a shower handle,
Very nice theme hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast with Italian treats, English toast, eggs and bacon, pleasant location near Centrale FS, nice, affordable restaurants in the neighborhood.
Our 3 night stay at the Mediolanum was brilliant. The staff were welcoming when we arrived and we were quickly checked in ready to make the most of our short break. Due to the hotel’s location, we were able to get anywhere we wanted to go quickly - it’s just a 5-10 minute walk to the central train station with Metro links. The included breakfast offered a good selection, mostly continental style, but some warm options too. The coffee with breakfast was amazing. It’s true what they say about Italian coffee - wherever you go it’ll be great! The room was comfortable and adequately sized, but the ensuite could be a little bigger as the toilet was right up against the wall, with barely enough leg room in front so if you’re tall you may have to sit sideways. If you’re looking to travel light, the range of products in the room was enough that you’d only need to bring a couple of bits with you. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel for couples and professionals.
Would deffo recommend this hotel, only 25 mins walk from the Duomo centre of Milan and great facilities around. the staff were attentive, friendly and the breakfast, whilst small, was fresh and never any trouble if you wanted more etc. Do not miss out on "aperitivo" time in Italy, us brits do not understand this, but it is like our happy hour except more sophisticated. 6-9pm is when the Milanese have a pre dinner drink and snacks that this hotel also offered. Buy an Aperitivo and they provide snacks, from small sandwiches to quiche etc, really lovely to experience. We will be going back again.
We picked the hotel because it was just five minutes walk from the central railway station. The hotel is well run. The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby there are plenty of places to eat. A great choice we would return to.
