Highly satisfied with this hotel, easy access to the station for anyone wanting to travel by train (few minutes walk). For sightseeing it took about 35 minutes to walk to the cathedral. The hop on hop off bus comes to the station, and the tram system was nearby too. The hotel had a modern, friendly feel with helpful staff. Rooms were equipped with a safe, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. The colourful bedroom was comfortable and clean, with a modern shower room. The lounge area was next to the bar, a pleasant way to spend an evening, and the bar snacks were most welcome! Breakfasts were excellent, continental style, with a good selection of everything to start the day. Would stay there again without hesitation!
Very colorful hotel situated near the main Milan Railway station. The hotel is a short walking distance to Corso Buenos Aires which is one of the main shopping strips in Milan. The rooms are clean and comfortable and is ideal for a quick stop over in Milan. We stayed there for 3 nights and would definately stay there again on our next visit.
Me and my wife stayed here during our recent visit to Milan. Overall the hotel was nice but not great, the bed was kinda hard and the elevator is tiny, 2 people can barely fit in it. They offer free breakfast with your stay, it's not bad for a free breakfast. The hotel is close to the Central train station which is good, lots of shopping and restaurants so that is a positive. Not a bad hotel overall but I'll stay somewhere else my next time in Milan.
Within a few minutes walk to the train station and some great restaurants. Staff were always friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious, although the colour scheme is a little too bright and colourful for my tastes. Separate paid parking, however they make it simple with valet service.
We stayed here for one night on our round Italy road trip. The hotel is in a very good position, close to the station and metro or a short walk to the centre. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and pleasant. We had a room with colour therapy which was a weird experience! This hotel felt like a one up from a budget hotel. Perfect for a night or two but nothing special. We liked the quirky art though. The bright blue wolf was a talking point! Breakfast was ok too - a wide variety.
i think this is a old hotel that got a slight revamped. However, some parts of it still look very old. Like the old laminate flooring, bathroom, wardrobe and etc. i absolutely cannot stand the 2 orange chairs in the room. chairs wrapped in fabric which trap dust, dirt and hair. i had a weird looking bug crawled onto me when i sat on that chair without checking how dirty is it. i got very gross out afterwards and also found another same bug but dead on the floor. may i suggest to the manager - please change new chairs or remove them. Please see attached pic. i had breakfast once at the hotel. i din like it cos it's like the rest of Europe - bland and boring. i pity the staff who's working at the breakfast room . she's the ONLY one who clear table, set new table, make coffee, serve coffee, replenish food. Gosh! Please reward that girl! No wonder she never smiled!
5 mins walk from trains, metro, hop on hop off bus and transfer coach back to the airport. Staff very friendly. Would recommend and will stay there again. Short taxi ride to canal eating area which is buzzing. All good
Great location close to the metro and the main station, food was nice and always fresh and the staff were amazing and very helpful. I will definitely be back to this hotel when we come back to Milan thanks
The Mediolanum was such a pleasant surprise in Milan The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was served daily in a nice breakfast room and hot both hot and cold food and fresh juices and full service coffees of all types and tea The lobby area was fulled with fun furniture and colour with a small bar that served drinks and snacks every day The room was clean and plenty of space and quiet The location was near to the central train station and very easy to access all of milan (5 min walk to subway) I would recommend this hotel and would gladly return again!
The hotel has a good location, train and tram close by, easy access to monuments, restaurants and shopping, great and friendly staff, pleasant room, clean, bright and confortable, great value, we loved it!
