Great find, in a great area. Close to the train station, although their website needs better/more info on how to walk to hotel from the train station. There are lots of good restaurants in the area, and the room was quite comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfy too. The included breakfast offers lots of choices, and if the many offered choices aren't enough a guest can order and pay for special items. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room were very nice and always helpful and courteous.

My wife and I enjoyed this hotel. We liked the location, just a short walk from the main train station which we arrived and left from. We also took the metro which was also very close to get around while we toured Milan. Night life was a bit lacking though. Rooms were simple but clean. The breakfast was good and everyone was very nice. Overall we had a very good experience. Oh and the Wifi was amazingly fast.

We arrived sunday morning at about 11am and were delighted as they let us check in right away. The man on reception was lovely and very informative about the hotel and Milan in general. The lobby of the hotel is very funky and colourful. We took the lift to our room which was on the third floor and our room was the one right at the lift which at first I was worried about noise wise but there was never a problem with noise for our hole stay. Our room was big with 1 large double bed. Bathroom was small but efficient. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning and wifi worked well and tea making facilities were great. The breakfast room in the hotel is quite small but they have a nice range of cereal, fruit, yogurts, teas, coffees, juices, pastrys, salads and some hot items like bacon, sausages & scrambled eggs. They have a little stand with leaflets with daily news on them in a few languages plus a range of papers to take and read while having your breakfast. All the staff we met here were lovely too. The location is great with Milan Central Train station just around the corner plus loads of great bars and restaurants in walking distance. Big thank you to Mattio on reception for helping us book our trains to Venice and Lugano. They have a computer and printer in the lobby if you need to print anything too. The Hop on Hop off Sightseeing bus stops right around the corner too which is handy plus if you are looking for a nice restaurant nearby try l'antro della Sibilla. We really enjoyed our stay here, everything was perfect, highly recommended.

Had a really great experience here. My flight was cancelled, and I needed to push my stay here by one night, and although I wasn't in the cancellation window they accommodated me. The room was small, decor of the place a bit funny, but everything was comfortable, clean, and efficient. AC worked great, good water pressure, and ample counter space in the bathrooms. Not to mention its a short walk away from train station, and also from great shopping.

Friendly staff. Noisy rooms. Not just the windows...you can hear a lot from the other rooms. VERY CLEAN! Small rooms. The only difference between a normal and a superior are the slippers and the bathrobe. As i said...a normal hotel. Set your expectation. The downside is that i payed 1600 euro for 9 nights.

We booked this hotel partly because of the decor and partly the location, what impressed us more was the level of service from all the staff. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and we were shown to our room where we had a welcome gift of sparkling wine waiting for us to celebrate our honeymoon. All the staff are super friendly and helpful booking our reservations and the amazing restaurant across the road providing us with information on trips and places to visit even delivering and collecting the ironing board we borrowed, nothing was too much bother. The breakfasts were the best we had in Italy and this included the service and the coffee. The location is very close to central station and there is tram number 5 just at the end of the street. the room was everything you needed, great bathroom with bath and excellent shower, it even included two dressing gowns and slippers and their main feature coloured lighting which was very entertaining. We would also recommend the bar which also has excellent service and great snacks, certainly worth paying a visit at the end of the day. I would be more than happy to stay here again and would recommend it as a place to stay for anyone looking for a good hotel in a great location with excellent service and good value for money this is well worth 5 stars.

We had a quick night in Milan en route to the coast, the Hotel Mediolanum was ideally located close to the Central Rail Station and subway connections to all the city attractions that we wanted. Lovely staff and a very satisfying breakfast.

This hotel is only a short walking distance from the Central Train Station - easily done with suitcases. I must admit that my initial impression of the hotel from the outside was Oh My God what have we done but outward appearances are deceiving ! The interior is funky to say the least and gives you something to talk about ! The reception staff were extremely helpful and spoke far better English than my Italian. Our bed is extremely comfortable and the room is very quiet. On the day that we had a 6am tour pickup the reception staff arranged for breakfast bags so that we wouldn't go without something to eat. The lovely man behind the desk also brought us a bowl of fresh fruit salad to share - the kitchen staff obviously remembered that we'd both had fruit salad the previous morning. There's an electric jug and decent sized cups as well as tea and coffee sachets in the room and a small bar fridge. All in all a pleasant place to stay.

Everything I need was there. AC and swift and comfortable in the Italian summer. The shower was nice and hot. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was thoughtful enough to pack me breakfast when they learned I was checking out early.

Good location 8mins from central railway- easy connections to metro lines to Duomo Close to Corso Buenos Aires - many shops along this street. The hotel itself is super clean, the rooms have electric shutters to keep it dark at night. Breakfast is generous This hotel is great if you don't mind being just out of the centre and are open to short metro trips !
