My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October 2017. The lobby is very modern looking and nicely renovated. The staff is extremely nice and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room looked very nice and was very clean. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. The hotel is situated relatively close to the center (10 minute cab ride, 30 minute walk, 10 minutes on train). There is a cute Cat Cafe near the hotel for those of you who are cat lovers. There are also great restaurants less than 10 minute walk around the hotel. The only negative about the hotel was that the shower was sort of small and you couldnt really move much at all in it (this is not typical of all rooms). They did have a breakfast buffet which offered many options with pretty good quality. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for a 4 night break with my daughter. Nice hotel in a nice area, all hotel staff were polite and friendly especially the guys on the front desk who were always helpful. Hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from Milan central station and was easy to find. Plenty of bars and restaurants around for food and drink, room was good and clean, shower wasn't over big but not really a problem. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, hotel is probably a 20/25 minute walk from the duomo area or not a problem to get to by tube from Milan central station. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or stay here again if ever back in Milan. Stayed in room 318 PS if your in Milan and there's a match on at the San siro you have to go, we went to a Inter game and it was a fantastic experience.
Chose because we were looking for a reasonably priced 4 star hotel within walking distance of the Porta Garibaldi station (for arrival), Centrale Station (for departure) and the city centre (for the half day we had to explore). It was easy to find after a 20 minute walk and check-in was quick and friendly with everything explained to us and a map given. We had booked a double room but asked for a bath rather than a shower. Possibly because most standard doubles only have a shower we were given a very large room (2 rooms actually) with a large bathroom with bath (and a balcony leading off!) The rooms were well decorated in a modern colourful style and we loved the different colour light effect options! TV had lots of channels but only BBC in English, good free WI-FI and there was even a bottle of mineral water plus kettle and tea - quite unusual for these hotels. Even though it was quite central there were excellent electric shutters on all the windows so it was lovely and quiet and we slept perfectly. Breakfast in the colourful basement was very good - as well as the usual cold continental selection there was hot scambled eggs, bacon and sausages plus an unusually large selection of vegetables. Check-out was quick and easy and they looked after out bags until we got back for our train later in the day. We were very happy with our hotel choice - highly recommended!
Whilst I myself didn’t stay here, my parents did and had a wonderful time. I contacted the hotel ahead of their arrival to ask if they could arrange some champagne for my parents to celebrate their retirement, I got a swift reply telling me it was no problem and all on them. Moments after their arrival my parents were greeted with a knock on their door with the fizz. Super helpful and kind. Thank you!
The place is ok. Nothing too bad about it but definitely NOT worth €180 per day! Our room was on the highest floor yet we could hear the noise from the street. The location is good. The breakfast was good. The staff was very polite. In general an average 3 star hotel which should be cheaper. Also in my opinion the pictures of the rooms show them nicer than they really are. In the room there was NO wall on the ceiling, just a metal grill through which you could see all the pipes and the wiring!!!! This creates a sense of dirt and creepyness...
Location is convenient to central station but a tiny bit far from the city for it to be easy for tourists. Metro is located at the station and from there it's 5-10 minutes to everywhere. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby (but be warned in Aug, when we travelled most of these are closed). The room itself was nice fittings were OK and the bed was "hard" probably slightly on the lower end. Staff at the hotel were excellent. The big positive is the breakfast. It's included and it's excellent with a high variety of food all really good quality. Overall this is a good VFM hotel if your looking for something in this location.
This is a very interesting hotel. It has a funky design which makes it to stand out. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the end of September. This hotel is situated very close to the central train station, but it is a bit of a walk to the Duomo ( about 30 min) and to the shopping district ( about 15-20 min). We enjoyed our stay there. The service desk was very helpful and efficient. Everyone there was really nice and considered. We felt we were treated as special guests not just temporary visitors. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had lots of mirrors which was great! It even had a kettle! (it appears that some hotels in Italy don’t have kettles in rooms). There were lots of really nice bakeries around too. Breakfasts were very good.
Convinient location, close to Milano Centrale, 2 minutes to metro, lot's of restaurants around. Room is spacious and lovely, interesting LED lights in the room, you can change light colour in the room. Professional and friendly staff, fast wifi and finally the best - breakfast :) Huge choice of tasty meal including hot meal, decent italian coffe and even prosecco ! One little minus is bad room soundproof but antway strongly recommended.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mediolanum! Lobby was lovely and welcoming, room was very clean, modern bathroom, they even provide a robe and shower slippers. WiFi worked great too! Good breakfast choices, pity I didn't know about getting a cappuccino coffee until a few days into my stay though. Great location to metro, just a five-minute walk. I was able to walk without any problem with all my luggage to Centrale Station to catch a train to Florence and I was traveling solo too. I liked that the first afternoon after leaving my luggage there earlier in the day, it had already been placed in my room when I returned from my first afternoon of sightseeing. All in all a comfortable stay and I would highly recommend!
This a very nice situated close to the Central station (don't let this put you off) and the Corso del Buenos Aires shopping area. Rooms are funky and well equipped. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great choice of fresh food for breakfast. Would definitelyrecommend this hotel.
