Have tried some other hotels in Milan but this is so far the best. Good price - good service, good location an perfect breakfast. Next time in Milan, plan to stay here! U-Bahn, tram, buses everything is near.
My wife and I had a 4 night stay at this hotel and was highly surprised. It had been one of my enjoyable stays and certainly recommend it. The rooms were clean and functional, the service from staff was excellent. The breakfasts could not of been better for our liking. The location was good, with easy access to local transport which can reach all locations with ease. The transport systems in Milan put ours to shame in England. Definitely comes highly recommend it and would use it again.
The hotel was nice but room was by elevator. This hotel was not close to center or attractions. We had to take taxis everywhere. The city is confusing and easy to loss your way. Getting taxis back to hotel difficult, you can only use a taxi stop(few and far between).
Stayed there few nights on a city break. Rooms are clean and the stuff is helpful, kind and smiling: from giving travel tips to promptly help when a problem appears(the mini-fridge in one of our rooms stop working and they changed it promptly). The hotel is located in a quit neighborhood, has a payed parking lot, and the food is good.
i was on a vacation, but this hotel had a lot of business travellers. the rooms are small and clean. breakfast was good and hotel is located close to metro. slightly far from airport and you will require cab as metro line is slightly away.
Personel was very kind. I liked the cleanliness and comfort of rooms. Breakfast was well organized and well prepaired; personel was always awailable to you. Although the hotel seems like bussiness type hotel the ambience is very homey.
This hotel is situated about 20 minutes from the city centre on tram. Within 5 min walking distance you have a tram stop which takes you straight away to the city. Except one Mexican or Philippines staff member wich was really friendly, professional and helpful, didn't we experienced this from the other. It felt really like we were disturbing them, they won't even look up when you pass by. The same for housekeeping and breakfast staff which was a little disappointing. As someone like myself who is working in the hotel industry and know how it should be was this hard to accept. So hereby all the credits to that one staff member who made it special!
easy access to milan centre by tram. Breakfast was very good quality and quantity(self service) would certainly consider staying at this hotel again for short stays,No good views available from any room.
I stayed here for 3 days while visiting Milan. What can I say - Bad points, Was given a small dark single room with outdated decor (from the 60's). I tried to open the windows, but shutters were jammed. on the second day I managed to open them using the sash - hidden behind the curtains and a lot of strength. Obviously not used much due to the noise from the road. You can then open the windows but only about 6 inches, it was a respite from the heat. I expect to have a room which lets in light and air in from the window. The walls are very thin so all noises from showers and flushing toilets are intense. The communal areas are all modern and updated though. Breakfast was continental cold buffet as expected and they did run out of butter. You need butter with your toast don't you?? Reception staff tried to charge me twice for the Hotel Tax as it wasn't logged on the computer when I paid at the start of my stay?? Personally I wouldn't stay here again.
We last stayed here a few years ago to visit family in Milan but the hotel is now part of the Accor group and has seen many changes. Our room - a Super Executive Double - was chosen on the basis that it was recently renovated. That may be true but the room was very small with just enough space to walk around the bed. An equally small bathroom with sliding door to the bedroom - there is no way a conventional door would work! That said the room was clean, functional and very importantly the bed was comfortable. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The TV came with with Sky although only one English speaking channel - Sky News. Breakfast is included in the rate but don't get your hopes up as this is a typical continental breakfast and toast is the only hot food available. A few cakes, cereals, yogurts and fresh apples and oranges complete the fare. The coffee is from a machine and my advice would be to walk round the corner from the hotel and take coffee in the local Pasticerria which also has a range of excellent croissants. Location is excellent with a 5 min walk to the no.14 tram stop - buy your tickets in advance at the Tabac at the station. If you're staying a few days the best value is a card for 10 journeys which costs about 13 euros per person. Journey time to the Duomo is 20 mins. One last comment is that this hotel is in the middle of a built up and heavily populated area so can be noisy especially from 05.30 when the locals seem to take pleasure in dumping their empty bottles from a great height into the the recycling bins! We enjoyed our stay in Milan and at the hotel but when we return we will probably think twice about where to stay.
