Front desk staff was a bit stuffy and at times rude - too busy to answer questions because they were busy enjoying a laugh on the phone and gave me attitude when checking out Parking is not onsite. It's a few blocks away and directions to it were not very clear. I was lucky to find it My room was hot. No way to control the temp other than to open the windows and endure the noise outside. Keep in mind the noise outside may not settle until 4am. This place takes advantage of its location and expects guests to tolerate quite a bit for the proximity to the duomo
The hotel is quite lovely. The interior decor is simple and modern. The rooms are spacious for Europe standard. The walls are paper thin so you can hear the guests next door having a conversation or whenever they flush the toilet. The breakfast buffet is superb. The food is fantastic and the service is superb. Compliments to Paola, the waitress. She is very friendly, polite and very accommodating. The location is great, 5 min walking distance to Duomo Cathedral, the Metro and tram is across the street. Overall, I had a good experience with Dei Cavallieri.
We stayed at this hotel for one night. We rested in Milan before going to Cinque Terre. Although it was short stay we had a very good experience. The hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly. The Terrace restaurant was awesome. It was close to all main attractions within five minute walk. Breakfast was unbelievable, buffet style tons of food it was really good. I would definitely stay here again.
This was the final two nights of a two week trip with my two teens. The location between the hotel, metro and historic sights were within an easy walking distance. The breakfast was 5 star! I will miss it as I could never afford such luxury back home.
Be sure to book the Executive level room -- they are newly renovated and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is well done. The hotel is very close to the Duomo -- so very convenient for sightseeing.
Good location ok hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.
Great location, room, staff, breakfast but room had odor. Carpets needed cleaning.
Minutes from Piazza del Duomo.clean,modern.Help with side trips. Good breakfast.
It is not exactly clear on the price difference when we requested from one room to other (the size of the room apparently was different). It would be better if they could explain this to the guest.
Just a minutes walking to the shopping area. Great staff and have a beautiful roof terraza with a great view. They gave me a upgrade in the room without asking! That was great!
We checked in first day in a very stinky room , bad smell even our clothes becoming rotten smelly we asked to change our room , we transferred to a room with broken AC ,we called maintenance bit they already had left after 5 pm ad per reception , but we wee given a fan , so we spend a horrible bad night next day we informed reception to take care of maintenance since we will be out on sight seeing after we came back at 3:00 pm , room is boiling we checked back with reception what was done we were informed that AC needs a spare part and will not be ready until Monday because of weekend ، we offered other room again it was stinky odor , I think the carpets are very old and needs to be changed , the hotel are reckless although very expensive
It was a short trip to milan as part of my trip to italy and it was a great stay. The hotel was in a good location and the service was great.
Convenient location, very friendly and service oriented staff and nice rooms.
O boy! Where do I start. Rude, rude staff at the front desk. I got frustrated and asked for for the manager(later found out his name, Mr. Fabrizio), he won't even come on the phone. When I insisted, the concierge started raising his voice at me. Would have never happened in America! Room was smelly. They showed 2 other dirty rooms as options and said would be ready in an hour. I wanted to walk out and book somewhere else but they won't even refund, saying that the room was pre-paid. What a debacle. Anyways, the only good thing about this hotel is location. We were in Rome, Milan and Florence and the countryside during our trip. The whole country is just so, so beautiful and the people are so nice... This hotel was the only sour part of our trip. Won't recommend.
Fine breakfast & room service was courteous. Location was very good. Front desk helped guide where to visit on the map at all times. However, upon our arrival, they need practice on greeting and welcoming guests to a fine hotel at checkin.
Location was great, but I found the hotel staff was not friendly at all - not very helpful.
My wife and I traveled to Italy for our honeymoon and stayed for two days at Dei Cavalieri. We arrived from Como and found the staff helpful with making reservations, giving directions, phone service... The list goes on. The 9 euro seemed more than fair for 24 hour internet service. We had been averaging about 5 euro for only about an hour. The restaurant leaves some to be desired although the waiter was friendly. Overall the hotel has good location near La Scalla theater and even closer to the galleria and Duomo di Milano. Rooms were small which is to be expected and bathrooms had the "bathtub" style bidets. Little intimidating. Nice hotel overall.
great location right next to the metro stop.
The location could not be better. The hotel is right next to the Missori metro, an 8 minute walk to the Duomo and Vittorio Emmanuel, and is in a safe quiet neighborhood. It is also only a 15 euro trip by taxi from the Linate Airport. The staff was courteous. The room was clean and very high tech. Oh did a I mention the price was fantastic.
great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms all at very reasonable price
