I was on business in Milan and this was a perfect place to stay. Staff could not be more friendly, the room and bathroom were excellent and wifi good. The chef in the kitchen really cares about his cooking, and it shows. I told him how good the tagliatelle in butter and sage sauce was.. and breakfast was good - fine coffee, croissants and a variety of healthy options. This was my second stay - and I will be back. Bravo!
I was here in First week of October 2015. Place is good overall, there is a pizza joint close-by. Chose this hotel only if you place of interest/work is close-by else there is quite a lot of travel involved. Friendly Staff, Good internet.
Stayed here for a short stay. It is in an excellent position from the center of Milan. We had 2 rooms and had no faults whatsoever. Rooms very clean and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice.the staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Will be staying at the Comtur a again, worth every penny.
Great hotel, management (awesome), breakfast, rooms and location (convenient to reach the Milan metro area). Parking available on site. Quaint little town. The hotel has a conference hall as well as a boardroom. Highly recommended!!!!
We spent 1 night in January 2013 and were very content with the quality/price ratio. - Spacious and comfortable room, good service, nice breakfasts. The desserts for breakfast were really delicious, I could not stop trying... - Charming surroundings of the small Italian town with several restaurants and bars. - Situated in 20km from center of Milan, it is not a problem with the car, the hotel has an own parking. It can be a best choice for staying if you have some business outside Milan (at least not in the center).
We stayed for the night from 19 to 20 December 2012 in the Comtur Hotel in Binasco on our trip into Southern Italy. We booked a reservation via Booking.com on 8 (!) December 2012. So on arrival at this hotel early evening 19th of December we were very much surprised and totally disappointed to hear from the lady receptionist that our room was not available. She stated some "plumbing problem" to be the cause. She offered us another hotel nearby. After som 1100 Kms of car-driving through The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Northern Italy we were very tired and refused to be "redirected". I even got angry because I suspected that we were not taken "for full" since we booked (for a low price) via Booking.com. I refused to be sent elsewhere and sat waiting in the lobby for her to solve HER problem. After some agitated telephone calling from her side she had a room available that we could get into right away .... How was this for no room available ??? We will not book this hotel again since it it treats its guests with no respect whatsoever !!! So much for hospitality ! YAK !!! On a very positive note comes the very thoughtful and very hospitable attitude of the nice lady that took care of serving breakfast the following morning. She made every effort to serve us comfortably and even took "preventive steps" in letting us in beforehand (of a great group of bus-tourists) so we could get hold of our servings from the buffet before it was "stormed". VERY GOOD SHOW of this perfectly "acting" lady !!!
Service was as good as it could be but the location and rooms let it down. Very dated now with decor needing to be changed. Bathrooms were of a very poor standard. Tv channels almost non existant. Breakfast was fine and normal for italian standards.
Bad hotel...is not a 4 stars, may be one.Dirty bathroom...please if you are diabetic look for another place to eat your breakfast only sweet cake and not fruits. If you want to dinner in the restaurant , please take time...they delay so much and the waiter are very disagreeable.Don´t expect nothing if you complain...the manager , probably , will laugh...
My major complaint is with ClearSky Holidays of Colindale, London NW9 5HU, who mis-sold me this hotel as being convenient for Milan (is there anywhere to rate travel agents on tripadvisor?). This hotel is a long way from the airport and from Milan. Even hiring a car was not without its difficulties in trying to negotiate the motorways and tolls. As for the hotel itself, it is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Probably 2 or 3 stars. The room was ok, but the breakfast buffet was appalling:the cold ham, cheese and bread was ok, but we were bemused by the rest of the breakfast fare. Their policy seemed to be to put anything that could be eaten cold onto the buffet table e.g biscuits, old chocolates (you know, the ones that have been left out and become hard and discoloured), cake etc. Nothing hot apart from the coffee - and the coffee was barely acceptable considering that this was Italy - the home of fine coffee. No sign of fresh fruit noticed by a previous correspondent. The little town was pretty enough for a half hour wander around, but not pretty enough to go out of your way to visit. The station cafe- restaurant near the bus station serve very good pizzas and are open until quite late (about 11pm).
The first issue we had when we got this hotel is that it is far from Milano. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it was advertised to us by a travel site for our trip to Milano. Once we got to the hotel the first room we were given had a spider issue. The hotel manager did change our room, but we had the same issue in the next room. The breakfast was not good either. The food was cold and had been sitting out for a few hours by the time we got there. Would not stay there again.
