We stayed here during the Easter weekend holiday. No one can fault the hotel’s location. It is a 8-10 minute stroll from Piazza Duomo and right on Via Torino that has all the great shops, cafes and gelateria. The hotel amenities are standard 3-star ones. Our room was of decent size, bathroom was on the smaller side but clean. The room did not have any view though. Breakfast spread was nice as well. Now the PROBLEMS. The room was too hot and stuffy; worst part was that the AC was not working. The staff told us that the AC won’t work since it was still not summer!!! That’s one of the weirdest things we have heard ever. Milan was pretty warm, with day temperature touching 17 degrees C. Opening the window was also a painful option as the screeching sound of the passing trams was too much. We stayed here for 3 nights and I did not sleep properly for the first 2 nights.
Its ok, the rooms are small and very noisy, its a central location but I would expect better noise insulation. The bathroom was a joke, I'm not very big but I struggled to get in and out of the shower without injuring myself. They also have the cheek to charge for the car park, breakfast was ok but limited, there's not much more to say really...a non event! Theres much nicer places to stay
We traveled in a three men group (with my father and son) First we had small problem with our reservation, as we didn't received the answers from the front desk as soon as might be expected, regarding bed types in the room. The room itself was exactly what we were looking for, except for the closet, which was too small for a triple. The Hotel is clean, fantastically located and basically it's good value for the money. Breakfast limited, but it was enough so we don't feel hungry afterwards. Another problem with front desk people was when we wanted to pay cash instead of credit card. We were told the payment already done by our credit card, however it actually happened 20 minutes before check out. Not critical, but disappointing. More or less it was all fine, just the front desk limited cooperation was under average. For example, our guide left some message for us, but we never received that.
Staff behavior was awful. At breakfast table, they behaved with anxiety. Of course, with their compatriots, they were quite well-behaved, but their behavior was very bad with foreign tourists. At the breakfast table, the bread was over, and I asked for bread, but they said the bread was over, while a few minutes later an Italian asked for bread and brought him to the table.
Less than a 10-minute walk from the Duomo and within walking distance of all the key sites and shops. The rooms are basic, but this is perfect as it is a great hotel to use as a base for exploring. Breakfast is limited but will keep you ticking over until you can explore the multitude of eateries in the city. All in all perfect if you want a clean and centrally located hotel to allow you to explore the city
I had the best rest at this hotel. The bed was a dream, with its memory phone mattress my boyfriend and I got the well deserved rest our aching muscles needed. The breakfast spread was yummy, the hotel was located very close to the Duomo and close to great shopping. If you take Via Torino, which is the street the hotel is located on, in the opposite direction of the Duomo you will find some amazing places to eat and drink at. We found staff to be very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the scent of the air freshiner in the hallways was something to take note of.
This is a well located hotel, breakfast is good, and the concierge is efficient and friendly. My room was small - very small - but wholly functional, and the bathroom was sufficient but not impressive. There's a bar and there's an outside makeshift terrace for drinking, but the bar is rarely staffed and you are forever having to ask the concierge to summon the barman if you're wanting a drink. Overall, this does the job - it's perfect for a very short walk into the centre of Milan (Duomo etc) and it's good value - I searched high and low for affordable options in what is an overpriced city. It's not the Ritz (of course) but it's clean, comfortable enough, and provides an acceptable level of welcome and service.
This hotel was booked as part of a Groupon package vacation to Italy. Milan was the last part of our vacation. The hotel is very close to the Milan cathedral and shopping area (10 minute walk) the hotel itself is dated. The interior lobby/ bar area could use a remodel. We stayed in a standard room which was very basic. Not the picture shown when you first look at this hotel. (That picture must be a suite) There are a flight a stairs you need to go down after the lobby to get to the elevator. (We had heavy luggage, so it was not convenient) We had a day excursion planned to lake como & bellagio so we did not fully take advantage of the morning breakfast. The gentleman at the front desk were very helpful & polite. They assisted us with directions and called our taxi to the train station our last day. Overall it met our needs, but I would not have booked if I had the option.
Chosen from the many available hotels as much by chance but no regrets at all. Super location, rooms at 'city type' so not large but fine for a short stay, nice breakfast and small bar area. Super friendly staff. Would stay again.
Have been here twice now on Milano trips, it's clean and simple. Don't expect any luxury or niceties and the beds are partially pretty small, but it does what it intends to do: provide a clean place to sleep when you explore Milano and don't need hang out space in your hotel. Value for money is good.
