The Staff here are great and the location is in a great spot if you like high end shopping. It is very close to all the high end stores and great restaurants. The inclusive breakfast was very good and even had Har Gow (shrimp dumplings). The lunch menu and dinner is very expensive and we found restaurants that were around the corner which were absolutely amazing. The room was large and the wifi was great. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

On our recent brief visit to Milano this summer we stayed at this gorgeous hotel. The service is exceptional, starting with the manager, the front desk and going down to all of the personnel. We arrived early and our room was not yet ready. Even though they did not need to, the hotel went out of their way to make it up to us. We stayed in the incredible Gabriele D'Annunzio Suite and it was divine. Comfortable, spacious, plenty of amenities. The lobby is spectacular, very classic and very welcoming. The breakfast was the best we experienced in Italy with a great selection from both the buffet and made to order dishes. The service is extremely attentive and the staff friendly and organized. I wish we had stayed more nights. It made us fall in love with Milano. A wonderful experience.

the heading of this review is going to look quite absurd for an expensive five star hotel; but it is true. This is a really elegant, comfortable, luxurious hotel which leaves one feeling completely spoiled; but it is nowhere near as expensive as some of the big name hotels nearby. The rooms are not enormous but they are elegant, comfortable and have character. Service is charming.

The style and ambiance of a historic luxury hotel with great staff and a fabulous location. A must stay experience in Milan. The nearby restaurants suggested by the concierges were fabulous as was the private guide Paola we had for 3 hours.

I am very please with the service of the hotel. My family of 5 was in Milan for a few days. I had stayed in Grand Hotel before and so I decided to re-visit the hotel as the last visit was very nice. Upon registration, i was greet by Moreno Pagetto (the Deputy Manager of the hotel). He took the time to bring us to the rooms and needless to say, the other staffs at the reception are equally friendly and very helpful. 5 stars service in my opinion. The rooms are nice and are re-decorated. Hotel bfast also upgraded since our last visit. Most stuffs could call out our name and it does feel like a second home. This is important to us as we don't speak Italian and we could use all the help we can in terms of restaurants booking and museum bookings. My kids enjoy Milan very much and they are looking forward to going back to visit the hotel and the city again. Will certainly recommend the hotel to any of my friends from Hong Kong/China and Asia Pacific rim. Keep up the good work. Cheers Andy

The hotel has long traditions. It stands well with other big hotels. The location is ideal for shopping. It is not too close to the Duomo area which makes me feel unsafe sometimes. The hotel is not big nor cheap but it's very reasonable pricing. However, their breakfast offerings were a bit pricey. If I walked out for a few minutes I could have a very good breakfast in some fancy coffee shops around the hotel. The room is not large but the very high ceiling helps. Their main strengths are their staffs. Their staffs really know how to put their minds on being attentive. They tirelessly work to make our stay a special ones, from the porters , cleaner to the room services. But I have to say, their concierge were exceptional. They worked miraculously to meet our last minutes demand ; from getting the " Last Supper" tickets to tge tables in Michelin's stars restaurant's. My complaint is on their internet system which was broken all the time. Also as I mentioned before they have to rethink their restaurant business approach. In summary, as for my next Milan trip, I will stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is nicely located, just walking distance to major touristic places in Milan. The facility and most of all the service was impeccable. all staff were fantastic. We needed a transportation after midnight, after watching a music concert in stadion, it was so difficult to call a taxi, and the metro was closed already. so I called the conscierge of the hotel, which immediately send us a taxi. so relieved.

I would award six stars if possible! We spent two nights in Milan at end of two weeks in Tuscany before flying back to Australia. Our main priorities were proximity to everything on foot and a true luxury city experience. This hotel certainly delivered. Our family (adult daughter and husband) were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived to departure (and after!). - upgraded to a superior corner suite with so much room including separate entrance, lounge, dressing room and bathroom. Very tastefully furnished. - lovely touches such as plenty of complimentary water, quality and unlimited lavazza nespresso ,beautiful Etro products with the softest slippers and towels in the bathroom - housekeeping standard was impeccable with turn down virtually presenting the room like 'check-in' new when we returned from dinner/ extra items and fresh towels with thoughtful touches such as arranging our items on lovely clothes - breakfast in Carusos is a la carte (good range and very well cooked ) as well as lovely pastries/cereals/fresh juices; we had a most memorable meal in Don Carlos - one of the best aspects is the intimacy of the hotel getting to know all the staff who could not do enough (one manager recognised me - away from the hotel - obviously unable to find the street I was looking for and helped me find it and gave me his card so I would not get lost! Thanks Federico). - superb location allows you to get to La Scala, Duomo, beautiful shops and plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Although not inexpensive I have stayed at pricier hotels and not received this level of attention. My tip is go for a suite (there are many) if you can. If you are noise sensitive choose one away from Via Manzoni. Thankyou everyone at Grand Hotel for making our trip wonderful. We will return.

I'm normally not easy to satisfy, but I have to say that the hotel team was such a great service. They let you feel that you own the place. The strive to please you as much as possible. They find solution to make your stay unforgettable. This is why I returned to them again in my trip to Italy. I strongly recommend it to everyone. The location is prime and close to many tourist attractions.

Enjoyed our stay last year and it was easy to come back to the Grand Hotel Et Milan. We found all the staff were fantastic ,the room was very clean and comfortable and enjoyed the old decor and all hotel facilities.The location is central to shopping district , the Duomo and lots of fabulous bars and restaurants. We will be definitely returning in 2018 .
