Excellent location right behind the dumo , breakfast was good , reception staff are helpful to inform all your data you want about any activity in Milan , Price is quite expensive regarding the equipment in the rooms , it,s not a luxury one but very clean and practical one .
We like the hotel and also hotel restaurant. people are very friendly. very good location, good for shopping or tourism. Walk distance to Duomo and Gallery. Also many restaurants options nearby. And also a good price.
The hotel is located few hundreds meters from Duomo, Piazza San Babila, so you can ask nothing more if you are a tourist. Staff was great and sorted out in a quick and effective way check in, check out and all our requests. The room was big, but as the entire hotel, a refurbishment is needed to replace furnitures that maybe were state of the art 30 years ago. Common area shares the same feature: big but outdated and poorly lighted for such a prime location. Overall it is a perfect hotel for tourist, in particular if they are able to seize deals and/or they need a city center location, but the hotel could not match business travelers taste and value for money.
Hotel Galileo is nice, cozy hotel in Milano, with nice frendly staff and nice location. Great hotel great interior and interesting dizajn, nice and good rooms and nice street location. Breakfast is super and is worth for money
This a great hotel if you are looking for convenience and good location! It is a basic no fuss hotel which is a 5 minute walk from Duomo (the main attraction of Milan). This is not for someone who is looking to spend majority of the time inside the room, but rather more for people who want a clean and comfortable stay close to the major attraction points and trains. I'd recommend this to Business travelers and people in Milan for a short trip (not a honeymoon hotel ;))
As the title says, the hotel is a little worn and the rooms are dated. The front desk staff are warm and helpful, check in went very quick. The breakfast is standard for Italy, the servers were a little brisk however. They do have a gym, a few pieces of cardio equipment and just a few hand weights. As a lot of reviewers have already said, the location is excellent. When your arms get tired of carrying bags you can easily make a quick trip to your room to drop them off and go back out. Another plus is the hotel is very close to the local bus stop, I saved a lot of euro using the bus to get back and forth to the airport. It was very efficient and inexpensive. Unfortunately Milan has a homeless problem, they set up "homes" very near to the hotel and shopping areas at night. I never felt unsafe walking around alone at night, they never bothered me.
The location of the hotel is great being close to the Duomo and shopping Nice room size and breakfast If you like the charm of the 70's then you will enjoy the rooms Public parking discounted nearby Attentive reception staff open to comments
Lovely hotel. Great location( just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and Palazzo Regio), friendly staff, lavish breakfast, nice and quaint room. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and highly recommend it. It's a four star hotel. You'll get your key to your room, forget about modern cards.
Best for Family tour close to market centre, exciting area walking surround sieve and nice looking. Finding food and Restourant with favourite menu are interesting at every corner of the Hotel. Lovely Shopping no comment every where we can rich from the local product up branded and glamore style.
No hotel in Milan can compete with Galileo's location; just a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo Milan cathedral and the main fashion street. The front office staff is very nice and helpful. The welcome was good and swift. I thought it was a bit nostalgic to get a proper key with a very heavy key ring for the room and not just a card. I can't really complain about the comfort; everything seemed to work. The old TV (no flat screen here) worked. The only bothering thing is that no safe in the room. The breakfast was also good enough, although nothing overwhelming. The coffee was brought to your table and the service was swift.
