Fantastic location walking distance to Central Station where you can either travel via metro or travel around europe while living 7 minutes away We will be back staying in a clean environment with a great Breakfast
We are a couple ( 2 Doctors from Cairo-Egypt ). location of hotel is very good as it is 10 minutes walk to the central station, where you can find transportation to every where in Milan, to have the bus to the Serravalle Designer Outlet, and one stop of the Hop on Hop off bus, also the bus to the Airport, so you are 10 minutes walk to -nearly- every where you want to go in Milan. It is 15 minutes walk to Garibaldi St. where you find all sorts of restaurants and cafes. Room is very clean, and always kept clean. They provide you with 4 mineral water bottles every day, also tea and coffee (that is renewed every day), with the kettle. Bath room is also clean. Breakfast is full of lots of varieties. service is very good, staff all over the hotel, are doing their best to satisfy the residents. We have to extend our deep thanks to a young man in the Reception desk " Mattia ", He gave us excellent service and did All his best to satisfy all our requests. As we are 2 Doctors, so we may ask the Hotel Management to provide high chairs, to the reception staff, as it is Not healthy at all to keep them standing up all the time of their shift. Thanks again for every body in this Hotel...
We were a party of 4 checking in at 2:50 pm. And guess what? One of the two rooms were not ready. Really? Check in starts at 3:00 pm but as SPG members could they provide us a room 10 minutes earlier? Too many trainees at the front desk. My room was small, a mix of old and new. What disturbed me about the room was that there was no drawers to put your clothes in. So for 3 nights you live out of a suitcase. Breakfast had lots of choices and especially lots of desserts. The bathroom was spacious but it had a every high tub you needed to step into. After we checked out, we went to Lake Como for 6 nights (wonderful). We came back to Milan for one night and luckily stayed at the LaGare next door. A much better place to stay in Milan!
I spent 3 nights at this hotel for a business trip. The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from Milano Centrale and a 10 minute walk to Corso Como which has many shops and restaurants. I was upgraded to an executive suite upon arrival which had a nice sitting room and separate bedroom. The hotel is very modern and the hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included with my room package and was a very nice mix of American and European options.
This is a hotel with very service minded staff. The hotel itself is fine, but the experience is very dependent on whether you are getting a newly refurbished room or not. Parts of the hotel are of "old vintage". The hotel has an ok gym. The breakfast is good - and varied. Free bottled water in the room a pluss. Relatively close to subway station, just 10 min to walk. Several good restaurants & supermarket nearby.
10-15 mins walk from the Milan central station this one has the advantage of its location. Also if you are an SPG member you can get some additional benefits like early check in, late check out and even free upgrade. I stayed twice end of June for one night each - the service at the front desk is outstanding. Rooms are ok not much of a view in some rooms like 204 which opens up to a stairwell. breakfast service is good but options kind of disappointing knowing that its a Sheraton hotel. Free wifi, gym and evening tea coffee service available.
Excellent location for Travellers !! Small walk from Milano Centrale .Plenty of Restaurants on the same street . Rooms are small but modern . Buffet breakfast is good .Elevators need to be updated . Decent hotel on a budget price and excellent choice for a budget traveller .
This hotel is located a 5 mins walk from Central FS .. it's convenient and clean The staff was very helpful especially on the day we checked in and realised I lost my passport. The trainee Elena .. I think that's her name was Very helpful - she help us call the embassy and the train station of lost and found... and told is where they local police station was . She then called a taxi for us..we were very impressed with how she handled my situation . She is certainly an asset to your hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to son good restaurants in the area. Try Osteria Fara which is just around the corner...yum ! The Housekeeping team also did a good job cleaning the room. Great location - clean and good staff - can't ask for more .. THANK YOU - We will be back ...
I stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel was nice. I was checked into 9th floor, I guess most European hotels have this small room but this was small in my opinion for a 4 star hotel and it's a maybe that I felt so because it's different at Dubai hotels. Checkin was smooth, Mattia I guess was very friendly. View was not interesting, it was looking at the back of the hotel. Room was clean, no tallboy or something to put your clothes, only few hangers. Bathroom was nice and clean too. They have "Handy" which is totally something nice, a mobile phone in the room which will be with you during your stay and more like a guide. They provide a tea kettle with 2 paper cups. They have a docking with electricity output and chargers. Bed was comfortable but you will be confused with the lighting system and, don't press the red button next to the bed, it's not the "do not disturb", it's an emergency button and will release an alarm. I actually think this is one of the disadvantages as they don't have any signs about that and you will know after pressing it so don't do it at 2 am like me. Decoration is quite old and it may need renovation, door stucks a little, elevators are small and slow. There were a nice cafe downstairs and nice restaurant. They also had a fun area with car simulation, I guess because F1 event. For the metro you will walk a little but just 2 minutes you can take the bus/tram. Hotel is like 5-7 minutes walk from central station so it has a nice location. Overall, it's a good hotel but needs some renovation and more space :) As a HHonors, I contacted Sheraton to inquire about the most of their loyalty and surprisingly they didn't even care to reply till now :)
The first that I was assigned to was leaking water from the ceiling and we were quickly upgraded to another room. The room was cleaned and the buffet breakfast that was included was great with lots of variety of food choice. The service wAs excellent. It was located within walking distant from Milan main central station.
