We stayed here for 2 nights during our stay in Milan. Location: Not near to the main area of attraction (where the duomo and castle is), but there is a direct tram (no. 1) to the duomo and main shopping district which takes around 30 mins to reach. From the airport, you can take the Malpensa Airport shuttle bus (should be at terminal 2) and alight around 600m from the hotel and walk. Room: Decent and clean with a small toilet. Not very sound proof as the walls are pretty thin. Service: Hospitable and approachable as we needed to visit a clinic for an urgent medical condition and the staff kindly provided us good directions and offered to translate in English to the medical personnel should we need to. The main issue we had was the double charging as we booked through hotels.com and it indicated that the hotel will charge us. Hence, we thought that they would charge us after our stay. Instead, there was double charging as they charged us both upon confirmation of the booking as well as after we checked out. This matter could be easily resolved with a more meticulous check by the staff in future. Overall, it was still a decent stay and we would recommend this hotel for its value.
We stayed for 5 nights with 3 children. This hotel is very different to the type we would usually stay in, preferring the rather large chains as you know what you will get (most of the time). However we were not disappointed. The lobby is beautiful, really stylish and furnished to a high standard. There are meeting rooms, a bar area and an outside sitting area, all very stylish and chic. Top marks to the designer, a great place to relax. We honestly thought they would not appreciate having children running around their lobby but the staff were more than accommodating and the hotel is very child friendly. We arrived almost 2 hours before check-in, but were greeted warmly and offered complimentary drinks and nibbles, the kids dug into the complimentary sweets on offer. The reception area is a round table, different and unique, we liked it. We were transported to a suite almost a full 2 hours before our check-in time! However when we realised the suite was not the one we requested with the kitchenette and mezzanine we were shown another one with what we wanted. Without any fuss whatsoever our new room was cleaned, luggage and a spare bed transported to our new suite whilst we went for a walk and had lunch. All the staff were fantastic and never made you feel anything was a problem. Our suite was clean and modern, with everything well appointed. The bathroom was clean with a nice power shower. Complimentary toiletries provided on a regular basis and fresh towels when requested. Whatever we asked for we were provided with e.g. extra towels, cutlery, condiments, towels. Daily housekeeping was a bit hit and miss but really nothing to complain about. The bedroom and lounge have flat screen TV's with lots of channels including English speaking ones. There is a small courtyard and it is a nice place to have your morning (complimentary) coffee or have evening drinks. Our suite was close to the car park and we didn't hear much noise except for one morning when the bin men woke us up around 4am, however we phoned the hotel reception and within a few minutes everything was silent. The safe in our suite had a low battery but again not a problem for us. There were a few wifi blackspots in our suite, but wifi in the lobby was good. There is a small exercise room with a multigym and some cardio machines. The spa on the top floor is worth a visit and has great views. We did not eat at the restaurant although the food looked great but was bit on the pricier side. There are some restaurants only a few minutes walk away and a co-op supermarket 10 minutes walk a away. The tram stops right outside the hotel. The Milan gate is a 20-25 minute walk away and there are more restaurants looking onto the park. The hotel is a 40-45 minute pleasant walk (through the park) away from the Duomo di Milano. There is a 5 euro per person (>18 years of age) per night city tax charge which you have to pay on check out. The surrounding area feels a bit run down due to graffiti on the walls etc, although we found this common place in Milan, the hotel itself feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert after a day out shopping in Milano and is in a residential area. Again we were surprised at how child and family friendly the hotel and staff were and as a result we saw a lot of families especially Brits. Interestingly the hotel also had lot's of couples as it was able to accommodate them in the main hotel building and families in the apartments making it an ideal place to stay for almost anyone visiting Milan. We had a fantastic time and would recommend Enterprise, and once again I would state the staff were absolutely fantastic, this hotel is too Kool for Skool! Fab place to stay!
We stayed here for 3 nights last week. What a lovely hotel. Particular thanks to Elisa and her team whose level of service was exceptional. Excellent location to central Milan and all the staff at the hotel were very helpful with advice on getting around the city.
Our rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. The reception desk is a huge round table which looks very chic but not practical for guests as it creates a "family" atmosphere with the guests and not much privacy. Also its hard to create a line to see who is next and hard to get away form it with lots of people standing in your way. The desk staff are REALLY helpful but spend so much time with guests that current guests can't get a quick answer to anything. The breakfast was wonderful as was the restaurant. The food was excellent both nights we dined there. Easy access to the tram and buses to the city center.
Very nice hotel, a little further from the center of Milan, but lots of transportation options nearby! The rooms are kinda small but very well equipped. It is a good value for money hotel. In general I was very satisfied.
The staff is very pleased and nice The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The lobby is unique. The reception is around big old table. Breakfast is very good and rich. The location is excellent. One minute from train station... Great hotel
Really enjoyed that 4 nights here. Some of the apartment are a bit old with very used bathrooms. However, a good stay with nice personel in all areas and excellent breakfast. It is in good walking distance to the large conference center.
The hotel is not located at the city centre but also not difficult to reach. The lobby seems as a design hotel but the rooms are decorated as standard hotel rooms where need renovation. The room was clean and enough size. The amenities were available upon request. The check in and out was efficient. Free internet increases satisfaction. The restaurant serves all needs but opens late for breakfast. The availability of the gym and the spa may affect your decision positively. I suggest for all stays as it is a value for money option in Milan.
Very nice hotel with good service. Very god breakfast. And also good communication to town with train just outside or 5 minutes walk to the Metro. From Malpensa take Malpensa Express and then train nr 19 to the hotel. It takes about an hour door to door. Tips: ask for a quiet room.
We arrived at the hotel after a short train journey and checked in with no problems. The reception area was n't your usual check in desk. The Enterprise has a large table to which new guests are received. The check complete, we headed to our room. It was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. The view wasn't great out of the back of the hotel but being in a city that's no going to be a problem. The tram, immediately outside the hotel, takes you into Milan centre in about 20 minutes. We bought a 48 hour travelcard from the news stand over the road for about 8 Euro. One evening we had room service and I thought it was quite expensive (approx. 15 Euro for a portion of lasagne), however, all the staff we dealt with were helpful and polite and the hotel was spotlessly clean. I'd be happy to return or recommend the hotel to other T.A. users but, the tram journey should be considered, especially if you intend to return to the city for an evening meal.
