The hotel is located 5 minutes from the highway and has 2 direct tramlines to the city centre. Ideal if you come by car. Garage has limited space and you cannot reserve. During the week you probably need to be lucky to find a spot. Parking outside is not easy... The hotel itself is good. Friendly staff, clean room and there is enough storage in the room. The dog can stay for free and staff is friendly to the animals. We did not have dinner or breakfast in the restaurant, only had some food delivered via room service. The food was good.
We booked a 5 night stay at the Enterprise Hotel through Secret Escapes for a long weekend break and after reading the reviews on here I was confident we'd picked a really good hotel but unfortunately we were really disappointed. On arrival the lady who checked us in at reception wasn't overly welcoming and seemed far more interested in talking to her colleague... the hotel is nice looking and modern but was just missing something. We got into the lift and went to find our room which was on the small side and after sticking 2 large suitcases in there was even more cramped. The reception is very modern but that doesn't follow through to the bedrooms. The tv was a good size and had a selection of English channels which was really good. The next issue was the shower door - it didn't close! So the bathroom was flooded every time we showered. The cleaners were aware of this but nothing got done. The room thankfully had a large window that opened because the room in an evening was like attempting to sleep in a sauna...The wifi was poor and snail pace. The location of the hotel was one of the really good points and the tram stop outside the hotel was fabulous for a quick 15/20 min journey into the centre. On checkout yet again the reception desk were less than interested in how our stay had been, they wanted to settle the bill for the minibar and that was it, on our way. It's a shame but I wouldn't recommend Enterprise Hotel... compared to a lot of other hotels we've stayed in the service just wasn't comparable. Really disappointed.
Bit of a mess when booking through an internet site and ended up paying twice. Hotel couldn't refund so gave us an upgrade, free parking and breakfasts. Couldn't fault this wonderful hotel....the beds were comfy, rooms tastefully decorated (and quiet), the welcome very warm and the breakfasts were superb. Will definitely be looking to book here again
More good points and 1 bad point, I would have given 4 to 5 stars. Good points first, reception when you arrive treats you like an old friend .Every thing down stairs in fantastic, the use of mobile WiFi in Milan was brilliant . Breakfast is superb cannot fault it , the only downside is room could do with up dating and looks shabby also on small side. That is the main reason for only 3 stars otherwise hotel is in prime position . I would definitely use this hotel again
Great helpful staff. Room cosy, quiet and bathroom sparkling. Breakfast buffet superb with hot station for individually cooked eggs, bacon etc. Sophia's restaurant had the best hotel food ever. Close to tram into centre. Gem of a find.
Stayed for 2 nights for a conference. First thing that strikes me was the reception desk is a round table, which removes the barrier between you and the reception staff. They are very approachable, and very happy to help - eg. when I asked for an adapter and extra toothpaste kits. The decor of the hotel is excellent, a mix of western and oriental influences, including a traditional chinese bed, elephant sculpture, chinese paintings etc. Moving on to the breakfast - highlight of the hotel. Sumptous buffet, with a mix of fruits including some quite exotic ones. Freshly cooked omelettes were faultless, and they had a good selection of yoghurts, juices, and honeycomb available. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Location was good - 10mins walk to MiCo, or shuttle bus available. To get to the city centre there is a tram stop 3 mins away, and 5-10mins walk away is the domodossela metro station. Would stay in this hotel again if we return to Milan.
Very good hotel Check in a little bit chaotic, but got a nice free upgrade. Rooms spacious but a little bit aged. The breakfast really good with all types of fresh food and drinks. Great they offer free shuttle services to the FieraMilano exhibition area.
Stayed here recently for two nights. Where can I start ? A modern, clean hotel run by friendly professional staff in a great location. We arrived after catching the airport express train from Malpensa Airport to Cadorna and then catching the train one stop back to Domodossola, a short walk gets you to the lovely decorated hotel lobby, where we were greeted and given a glass of Prosecco each. We asked for a room as high up as possible to allow for traffic noise which was given to us no problem. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and had a good bathroom and all the the amenities needed, including a TV with some UK channels, tea and coffee facilities a mini bar and air conditioning. There is also a good supply of toiletries and a list of other things that you might need available from reception, I asked for the shaving kit, which was given to me free of charge, such a good gesture and very handy. We used the spa during our stay €20 each per visit. We also experienced the outstanding breakfast, €15 each, we have never seen such a wide variety of food for breakfast and really didn't know where to begin, a truly wonderful spread of food, only let down in my option by the not so good coffee which is a shame as all the other coffee we had whilst in Milan was delicious. The hotel is in a good location for public transport and we didn't use any other means of transportation other than the very efficient and nostalgic trams, just get a pass for the length of your stay walk a few moments to the tram stop outside the hotel and Milan is at your disposal. We hired a mobile WiFi router from reception (which was free ? )on our days out which was a brilliant gadget which meant we had WiFi with us wherever ever we went, it worked perfectly, very impressive. Overall we are so glad that we stayed at this hotel and the only negative point about our entire stay was as mentioned before, the coffee at breakfast, which I'm sure can be easily rectified. We can't recommend this hotel enough. If we ever visit Milan again we would definitely stay here, a wonderful hotel.
Stayed at enterprise hotel for one night. We booked 2 rooms. On arrival they gave us apartments that are normally for long term stays because we have 2 big dogs. The apartments are spacious and clean, although didn’t look as nice as the hotel rooms we booked originally. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really nice. The WiFi was quite bad. Our friends called the front desk a couple times to get someone look at the WiFi but no one came. They did give us a small discount when we checked out for this. The location was great. Right next to many major tram stops that go to duomo and city center. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Milan!
Our trip was just for a day to catch out flight back to NYC. The lobby was stylish and guest services were excellent. Because we do not speak the lingo it was wonderful that a person at the front desk spoke English. Food and room space was perfect.
