Early check in was a disaster

We requested an early check-in which was graciously granted, however when we arrived the group staying at the apartment before us where still there and it hadn’t been cleaned. We were told we could get in at 12:00pm but the room was not ready until 2pm. There was clearly miscommunication between the check-in person and the manager of check-in times. The key to our room was also very hard to use.
