This place was beautifully serene. A private escape with great views and quality accommodations. The breakfast was amazing! 10/10. Would definitely recommend for anyone flying into Milan and need a place to stay.

The breakfast was very good with a large selection. The property was very comfortable and quiet. However, the room had no heat and the WiFi was extremely spotty. Room was very small as well.

d clean. The entry to building was dark. Had to find a light in stairwell to see where going. This was a shock. Room was big and roomy. No tea and coffee facilities but there was a fridge. Went to restaurant for food. Service and food was awful. Slow. Got food order wrong also. Just wanted to get out and back to room. Waitress told us initially that it was full. But a waiter caught us up and said he had a table for us. After meal went to room and had a good sleep. We had breakfast at the restaurant next day and it was ok. T second night we brought food in to our room and ate on the balcony. Again another good sleep. Next day we had a wander around the horse stables before checking out. Which again was good. The only thing that let this hotel down was the rude waitress and poor service and food otherwise it would have been a great place to recommend.

Fabulous experience all round

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Agriturismo il Boschetto, I thought the hotel was absolutely fabulous, clean , great location, great breakfast, the staff were incredibly friendly and I really loved all the beautiful horses , it really was a fabulous experience. My daughter who is 19 loved the hotel too !! I am heading back to Milan next month and I definitely will be staying at this hotel again Thank you very much for a great experience Fiona

Good value, within reach of Milan by car

Overall, a great find. Positives: a very good value for the money; hotel is in a great shape, has a just-renovated feel. Negatives and Things to be aware of: our suite had no stand-in shower, just a bath tub with a hand-held shower. Towels left on the bathroom floor were changed, to the tune of 3 euros per night. The hotel shares the property with horse stables and rinks; the weekend we were there, horse scuderia would start every morning at 8am right outside our windows. Breakfast was decent, except they were regularly out of eggs and bacon, and take 15 minutes to replenish... Seriously, how about cooking eggs so that there is a constant supply? Coffee was awesome, and the service very friendly. The property is in the middle of nowhere (which is why it is such a good value), outside of a tiny town of Ornago. To get to Milan, we would drive (for about 25 minutes) to the Cascina Gobba station, right off the A51 highway (autostrada), where one can leave the car at the parking lot (or garage) run by the transportation authority, 1.50 euro for up to 5 hours, 2 euro for up to 10 hours, and take the subway to the center (about 20-30 minutes, depending on the destination). The subway is 1.50 per person each way. A bit cumbersome, but beats spending 200 euro more per night for comparable accommodations in the city. On the way back, we would stop in the supermarket (il Gigante) just off highway A4, at the exit for Ornago (marked Cavenago/Cambiago).

Great place to stay

Visiting the Italian F1 GP. Hotel is in a beautiful setting and close to Monza. Very peaceful. Room 223 could do with a proper shower instead of a deep bath and handheld shower hose. Otherwise great.

Extraordinary

If you are looking for something different this is the place! Beautiful hotel surrounded by a horse farm. Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice friendly environment. Would prefer larger breakfast selection although staff did their best to offer anything else we needed. Very good service at dinner too. Would definitely recommend.

A unique experience - highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel to take a break from the city whilst touring Milan..it is a little out of the way but we hired a car and knew it wasn't centrally located..it really is worth it! It isn't far from the city but also provides a great location from which to travel to the Como region - we took a scenic drive around the Italian Riviera - Lecco, Bellagio and Como town...well worth it. The hotel is beautiful and the layout of the grounds are great. For peace and tranquillity this hotel is perfect. The nicest, most welcoming and friendly person you will meet in Milan is George - front of house at the hotel. He is a real asset to this hotel - forever smiling and always keen to help. Perfect man for the job. Would consider revisiting again soon for another peaceful break. Overall - 5* experience.

An oasis of peaceful relax

Check in was a disaster The key was in a locker box under a password, someone had already taken my key (all the lockers used the same password so the passwords have no sense) I had to use someone else key and any other room that was not the one I booked, nobody answered the phone and no possible to get any help at midnight
