Glasl's Landhotel

Great hotel, out of the way, but not too much.

We had a quick overnight stay here just before a flight. As such, we were only there for about 6 hours. The front desk was great and made sure we were all prepared for your flight the next day by printing our boarding passes for us. He also recommended a nice restaurant just down the street.

Hotel Schrenkhof

Beautiful, classic hotel in Bavarian style

This is our go-to hotel for every Munich visit. The location is very convenient to the city center, the Alps, Salzburg, and most general sites around Munich. Just 1.5km walk or drive to the subway system, and small shops are just around the corner. The hotel itself is situated in very quiet, peaceful grounds. The staff is very friendly and gracious, and the breakfast is delicious and generous with something for all. But the best part of this hotel is the old world Bavarian style, with heavy antique wooden furniture and decor, and each room has its own unique theme. We absolutely love the Hotel Schrenkhof and highly recommend.

Hotel am Wald

Excellent choice

This was a very convenient, typical German Gasthof. The breakfast buffet was very good, the staff was friendly, and parking was free and easy. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main part of town, but this is on sidewalks and no trouble.
