I have been staying at this Suite the last 2 years cause i watch Minor League baseball games ( Midland Rockhounds). Courtney Moore the Manager of the Suite has been so nice to me every time I stayed there. I met Courtney at another hotel and when I found out she was at this Suite I ask if she would get me a great rate at her Suites she said she would so I been staying at this Suite. So if u have a problem at this Suite talk to Courtney she will help u in every way she can.
Added a charge of state recovery fee, and told me it was due to the recent bad weather. Then I found out they have been putting this on bills for several years. Breakfast was always late, the PM managers surprise or whatever they called it, ran out within 30 min. Internet was always slow, almost like dial up.
I have to travel out to Midland for work once or twice a month and always stay at the Towneplace. The staff is very friendly and professional. My wife and dog always go with me, and they stay at the hotel all day while I am out working. My wife always gushes about how the entire staff, from front desk management to housekeeping, go out of their way to make them feel comfortable and safe while I am out. The rooms are always clean, roomy and comfortable. We always get a good night's sleep because of the good quality mattresses and pillows. The breakfast is good. Pretty standard but on our last visit I noticed they were adding more variety to the offerings. The lady in the kitchen told me this is by design so that people staying all week don't have to eat the same thing every day. They also serve dinner Mon-Wed. We always go out, but the other guests seem to enjoy the food. The location is excellent as well. In a well-lit area with many other new hotels, so it feels very safe. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store very close, so finding food is never a problem. I definitely recommend this property!
Great stay at a new, modern hotel. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, large clean rooms, heated pool, and good fitness center. Breakfast was delicious and well stocked. Fitness center has commercial quality Precor cardio equipment. Pool was heated (only thing missing in the pool area was a hot tub/jacuzzi). Large room with a pull out large flat screen TV, and fully stocked kitchenette. Would stay again.
A great place to stay in a great area and friendly staff. The desk attendant Deborah was very cordial, witty and helpful during my stay (to include helping me avoid a charge because of a misunderstanding with the smoke alarm). The pool was nice and warm and the room was well designed for a medium sized room!
Overall a nice place. Only real issue was a torn sofa cushion. Large rooms, friendly staff. Motel also takes pets. This can be a plus for some. But having a yappie puppy next door maybe a issue for others.
The bed was fantastic. The pillows were great. The towels were large and soft. The check in was fast and efficient. We did not get to eat the breakfast, but it smelled good and the coffee was great. We like hotels where there are plenty of plugs to charge our phones and evices.
Our suite was large and comfortable. The small kitchen area has almost all the amenities of home: full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove top. The only thing missing is an oven. The complimentary breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, along with the usual cereal, muffins, yogurt, etc. Everything I tried was tasty. My daughter and I enjoyed dining on the patio outside the lobby. It's on the west side of the hotel, covered and completely shaded in the morning. Very comfortable and pleasant, even in July.
We stayed at this hotel and rented the banquet room for a family event. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Midland.
Everything about this hotel's accommodations were great. Very clean, good beds, beautifully appointed and a nice shower. I was disturbed that our request to be close to the lobby or elevator was ignored and we were placed about as far away from the lobby as you can get. Plus, we were across from a room with at least two barking dogs.
