Great Location,Deceptive Listing
The most “awesome” thing about the place was the views, the location, and the helpful conciergesnfor the building.
Had to give this lower reviews for several reasons...Several things were listed in the amenities that were not existent in the apartment including: microwave, hair dryer, and towels (there were only 2 in the entire place). There was one half used roll of toilet paper and a can with no trash liner. I understand that this is not a hotel, however basics were in short supply. We tried to contact the owner regarding the microwave and other things noted when we arrived, but they would not reply during the entries tu of our stay. The cable did not work- my husband and I had to take an hour to figure out that we could access Netflix through the WiFi on the tivo. We spent about $50 on buying our own cleaning and hygiene supplies such as toilet paper and more towels (which we took with us after leaving). Also, the cupboard in the dining room had been damaged and not bothered to be repaired.
This place could BE awesome if someone cared enough for basic amenities and proper maintenance of the apartment.
My advise to the owner- please be honest and transparent in your listing.
To those looking to rent- be prepared to bring your own basic necessities and don’t expect help from the owner if something is amiss.
