The noise level was unbearable. Would have known what was to come when we saw ear plugs and a sound machine next to the bed. The party started right under our window at 5 pm and well into the evening. Thankfully, the new Apple AirPods managed to isolate us from the party noise. Same theme with the flimsy construction as noise and loud talks in the corridors kept us up at night. Perhaps that is expected in Miami and we should have known better. Only stay there if expect the party atmosphere.

The breakfast menu offered a full variety, from light to full, all options satiating! Smoothies were smaller than expected, about 8oz. We used valet: it was efficient with use of text messages to request our vehicle. If you want a balcony, know that there is loud music some nights from the 3rd floor events.

Contacted hotel 3 weeks in advance to ask for several rooms to be on the same floor. They noted they would assist and added notes to the booking. Once we arrived, we couldn’t be accommodated even though we called 3 wks prior and a few days prior to confirm. No notes were left on either accounts. Breakfast was terrible each day after trying different items. Price for food $$$$, Taste: does not equal cost.. Couldn’t control the room temperature. Too damn cold. Had to request numerous times for room cleaning and blankets. Charged $500 deposit for several rooms. Charged another friend $200 est for a room. Not sure why. Doormen were polite. Bartender was good. The rooftop/pool/ bar area as great. The front desk charged urban/resort fee & additional taxes even though the taxes and resort fee was already prepaid via Expedia. Pending response and refund from Arlo for resort fee and additional taxes. Decor and architectural design was great. Wynwood area itself is artistic, good energy, nearby shops restaurants and museums nearby. Wouldn’t stay at Arlo ever again.
