This studio is located inside a property in downtown area, about .9 miles (18 min walk) from Merida's cathedral. It's a 24 square meter en-suite space (258 sq. ft.), it has skylights to illuminate the space but no windows. Please note that the plunge pool and the lobby are shared common spaces with other two studio apartments, feel free to use them any time!

Excellent hosts!! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was well designed, clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient for walking to Centro, shopping and sight seeing, offering a genuine local experience. This is now our “go to” place for our next trip to Merida.

Lovely cool space inside away from the blistering heat. The space had a everything I needed. It was quiet and peaceful. I cooked from home most days. It felt like a home away from home. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed cultural escapades and coming home to Netflix. Rosa and Ishmael were attentive and warmly welcomed me.

Hosts were incredibly welcoming. This is a very authentic experience in the heart of Mérida. Not luxury, but clean, simple, affordable and fun. Perfect! I highly recommend the experience! Entrance: The door reminds me of Platform 9 3/4 in Harry Potter. For me, it was almost impossible to find - every time I went back. I stood on the corner, right in front of it, and still couldn’t recognize the door. I even had a GPS mark. I don’t understand it either. There are a lot of doors, and everything sort of looks the same. Take a picture of the door and note where it is on the T intersection before going out. Regarding Merida, I walked from this place all around Merida. I always felt safe, even in the dark. There are lots of people walking around all over town. Getting around in Merida: I walked several miles and took an e-bike tour. Ubers are pretty cheap, and there’s a tour bus service that goes around the city - like one of the tour busses in Manhattan. But things are generally far apart, and you’ll need to get around. Have fun!
