Simple , very clean, comfortable small hotel on a beautiful quiet beach. Our second time staying here and we will be back again. Rooms have a small fridge/freezer, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, fan and a/c. There are lounge chairs and palaplas on the sand. Very quiet and relaxing .
Beach hotel was nice in the small town and just a few blocks away from the town square. Would like to have a broom to sweep up the little bit of sand we brought in. Air conditioner and fan were great since it was still hot at night.
Hôtel incroyable. On est super bien accueillis par l'hôte et la chambre est très propre. Au bord de l'eau, nous sommes restés une nuit et nous avons eu l'impression d'être au paradis.
While the room had been renovated and was comfortable except for no hot wat in the shower it was the outside area was the most disappointing - a couple of broken and ripped deck chairs and dirty plastic chairs the only option to sit on the beach and no other options - not a relaxing beach option.
Very small, low key place, with small room literally steps from the beach. Palapa restaurant next door where got drinks to go. Great place to sleep when visiting the beach.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It’s right on the beach. The room was a good size, beds were ok, but no frills. It served our purposes of enjoying the beach and taking the flamingo tour nearby. It’s also centrally located to restaurants and the small town center.
Being there was very limited options in Celestun, Hotel San Julio was very much appreciated. The AC was ice cold, the shower was hot. It is very basic older feeling motel, but the beds were comfy and the rooms were very clean. It is a pretty remote town, but this was a great place to lay your head, and it is literally on the beach. The owner was very helpful and seems to be in the process of adding more rooms to the property. Would stay here again!
This is a small simple hotel run by a nice man. It is not fancy but it is clean and quiet and on a wonderful beach. We slept great. The nearby boat tour of the Flamingos is one of the highlights of our trip across Mexico. Fantastic. Ask for Eduardo!
Great little hotel right smack on the beach and easy to find! Nice rooms with comfy beds and fridge in the room. Arthuro, the owner was very helpful and there good restaurants very close by but they all close around 6-7 pm. El Lobo in the Centro, 5 minute walk away, is open late with excellent food, including pizzas. Only problem was the spotty wifi, but hey! you're at the beach. Great stay!
You can grab a boat right on the beach to go see the flamingos. 400mxp/person, or go grab a boat at the bridge.
This was the perfect small hotel for our trip. Had all the basics and was clean and no frills. Loved the beach property and the beach chairs. Would definitely stay here again! Lucas even recommended a clinic for my mom when he noticed she was under the weather. Much appreciated.
For a simple modest hotel the hospitality embraces you. And where can you step out of your room and unto one of the loveliest, unspoiled beaches in the world. I hope it remains truly a small Mexican treasure forever.
This little hotel is right on the beach with a private beach area for guests to relax. The room was super clean and the central courtyard for guests was nicely kept. Water, coffee, and tea were always available. The hotel manager was friendly, available, and responsive. This establishment is not fancy but delivers exactly as advertised and is in a great beachside location.
